Hola amigos de Hive, mi nombre es Rafael Galindez nací el 03 de mayo 1982, tengo 42 años soy el menor de 3 hermanos, oriundo de la ciudad de Barquisimeto Venezuela, actualmente vivo en Rancagua Chile, Católico y soy de profesión Administrador, también, Técnico Universitario en Informática carrera que nunca he ejercido pero que me ha servido en el campo laboral, siempre me ha gustado luchar por mi superación profesional aunque es lo últimos años no le he dedicado tiempo a seguir estudiando, me he caracterizado por siempre compartir mis conocimientos con todas las personas que me rodean algo que me llevó en algún momento a ser profesor universitario, otra gran pasión es la cocina desde muy niño siempre me lleno la atención el mundo de la gastronomía es algo que me ha motivado en los momentos más difíciles de mi vida, para mi la cocina es una terapia y que también me ha permitido conocer a muchas personas, por otro lado también me gusta viajar conocer nuevos lugares y nuevas comidas, me gusta la lectura, el cine, hacer ejercicios y como no decirlo me encanta estar en casa pasar un día en casa, entre ordenar, cocinar y también flojeando.
Como les dije inicialmente soy barquisimetano seguidor del Cardenales de Lara y Creyente de la Virgen María bajo la advocación de Divina Pastora, me encanta mi ciudad y Amo ser Guaro, para mi Barquisimeto es la ciudad más linda del mundo sin menospreciar las demás, cada sitio tiene su encanto, pero Barquisimeto es mágico, su atardecer, la música, el clima, la mezcla de pueblo aún siendo una ciudad, su comida y sobre todo su gente, por otro lado siempre me ha gustado compartir en familia, aunque por motivo de distancia actualmente no es posible, tengo 2 hermanos mayores, entre cada uno tenemos una diferencia de 4 años, mi hermana mayor se llama Ana Maria y le sigue Manuel José, por acá yo soy el menor de los 3 mi padre Rafael Galindez, siempre ha sido un gran ejemplo para mi por su constancia, perseverancia y aunque no fue un padre presente siempre se preocupo para que no nos faltara nada en casa, por otro lado mi madre Carmen Suarez una mujer de carácter fuerte tenía una peculiar forma de demostrar su amor a lo me no la más correcta, pero se que me amo tanto o más de lo que yo la ame a ella murió hace 3 años algo que fue muy dificil, les puedo contar que también tengo 4 sobrinos los cuales representan mi orgullo, admiración y adoración y mi fuerza para seguir cada día, son 2 mujeres y 2 hombres, ni ellos se imaginan lo que representan para mí.
Hace 7 años tomé la difícil decisión de emigrar de Venezuela la crisis económica y política del momento fue la motivación y mis ganas de poseer una estabilidad, nunca estuvo es mis planes salir del país, pero en este momento me siento agradecido, el lugar a donde me fui es Chile a la ciudad de Rancagua un lugar que me ha cobijado y me ha permitido realizarme como persona. En mis primeros años como emigrante de tocó rebajar en el mundo de la cocina primero como garzón(mesonero) y luego como Maestro de Cocina(cocinero) así que me tocó aprender sobre mas sobre mundo de la cocina pase por 4 restaurantes 2 de gastronomía peruana y 2 chilenas allí me tocó demostrar algunas de mi habilidades en la cocina, fue muy gratificante ver y saber como a muchas personas les encantaba mi sazón, actualmente trabajo como Ejecutivo en Atención al Cliente en una clínica(Redsalud) donde me han dado la oportunidad de ejercer mi profesión y donde he obtenido la estabilidad que tanto me ha costado encontrar. En Chile me ha tocado vivir lo mejor y lo peor de emigrar, lo mejor que me pudo pasar fue conocer el Amor pensé que el algún momento lo había conocido pero acá lo llegué a sentir hasta en los huesos, esa será otra historia que contar, también me tocó sentir el momento más triste como le comenté delante mi madre murió hace 3 años, para cualquier emigrante no hay nada más difícil y doloroso que perder un familiar sin poder despedirlo, nadie se puede imaginar ese sentimiento de angustia, desesperación y tristeza que se siente en ese momento y cómo seguir adelante con ese dolor interno que muy pocas personas comprenden, en mi caso estoy solo en Chile, cuando me refiero a solo es sin ningún familiar consanguíneo, en este lugar he tenido la bendición de conocer a muchas personas geniales o otras no muy agradables que no vale la pena ni nombrar, pero que de alguna forma le dan sabor a la vida.
Hablando un poco de mi experiencia laboral al igual que cuando emigre mi primera experiencia fue en el mundo de la cocina, allí me tocó reemplazar al cocinero de una panadería de la que estaba encargado mi hermano él confío en mi habilidad, aun cuando no tenía ningún tipo de experiencia logré superar ese obstáculo, luego de allí trabajé en un comedor estudiantil allí llegue a ser el cocinero principal después del chef este ha sido el mejor trabajo que he tenido no por el suelo si no por el clima laboral que se creó, ya luego trabajé en una universidad muy vinculada al mundo político, entre como asistente, fui coordinador y salí siendo profesor esta fue una experiencia mágica el poder compartir mis conocimientos, ya de allí entré en el mundo de la salud, primero en una clínica en el área de urgencias y luego en una organización dedicada a los seguros, específicamente a seguros de salud, en estos 2 últimos lugares aprendí muchísimo tanto que ha sido el pilar del trabajo que desempeño actualmente.

As I told you initially I am a Barquisimetano follower of Cardenales de Lara and believer of the Virgin Mary under the title of Divina Pastora, I love my city and I love being Guaro, for me Barquisimeto is the most beautiful city in the world without belittling the others, each site has its charm, but Barquisimeto is magical, its sunset, the music, the weather, the mix of people even being a city, its food and especially its people, on the other hand I have always liked to share family, although for distance reason currently not possible, I have 2 older brothers, between me and my family, the music, the climate, the mixture of town even being a city, its food and above all its people, on the other hand I have always liked to share with my family, although due to distance it is not possible at the moment, I have 2 older brothers, between each one we have a difference of 4 years, my older sister is called Ana Maria and Manuel Jose is next, My father Rafael Galindez has always been a great example for me because of his constancy, perseverance and although he was not a present father he always worried that we did not lack anything at home, on the other hand my mother Carmen Suarez a woman of strong character had a peculiar way of showing her love to me not the most correct, but I know that she loved me as much or more than I loved her, she died 3 years ago something that was very difficult, I can tell you that I also have 4 nephews who represent my pride, admiration and adoration and my strength to continue every day, they are 2 women and 2 men, not even they can imagine what they represent to me.
7 years ago I took the difficult decision to emigrate from Venezuela, the economic and political crisis of the moment was the motivation and my desire to have stability, it was never my plans to leave the country, but at this moment I feel grateful, the place where I went is Chile to the city of Rancagua, a place that has sheltered me and has allowed me to realize myself as a person. In my first years as an immigrant I had to work in the world of the kitchen first as a waiter (waiter) and then as a Master Chef (cook) so I had to learn more about the world of cooking, I went through 4 restaurants 2 Peruvian and 2 Chilean gastronomy there I had to demonstrate some of my skills in the kitchen, it was very rewarding to see and know how many people loved my seasoning, I currently work as a Customer Service Executive in a clinic (Redsalud) where I have been given the opportunity to practice my profession and where I have obtained the stability that I have struggled so hard to find. In Chile I have had to live the best and the worst of emigrating, the best thing that could happen to me was to know Love, I thought I had known it at some point but here I got to feel it even in my bones, that will be another story to tell, I also had to feel the saddest moment as I told you before my mother died 3 years ago, for any immigrant there is nothing more difficult and painful than losing a family member without being able to say goodbye, Nobody can imagine that feeling of anguish, despair and sadness that you feel at that moment and how to move forward with that internal pain that very few people understand, in my case I am alone in Chile, when I say alone is without any blood relative, in this place I have been blessed to meet many great people or others not very nice that is not worth naming, but somehow they give flavor to life.
Talking a little about my work experience as when I emigrated my first experience was in the world of cooking, there I had to replace the cook of a bakery that was in charge of my brother he trusted my ability, even though I had no experience I managed to overcome that obstacle, then I worked in a student dining room there I became the main cook after the chef this has been the best job I've had not for the floor but for the working environment that was created, Then I worked in a university closely linked to the political world, I entered as an assistant, I was coordinator and left as a professor, this was a magical experience to share my knowledge, and from there I entered the world of health, first in a clinic in the emergency area and then in an organization dedicated to insurance, specifically health insurance, in these last 2 places I learned a lot so much that has been the pillar of the work I do today.
How I got to know the world of Hive? thanks to my nephews @eliigonzalez, @eliudgnzlz, @wbrandt and some family members that are around here. In this space I hope to share some of my experiences, anecdotes, adventures and cooking tips, as well as learnings and new friendships within the community.
