I don't know why it's taken me so long to reconnect with writing, well actually I do, especially when many of my projects consciously involve hours and hours of writing in different modalities lately, taking on those projects are not only a challenge in themselves, but a metamorphosis of my persona as I conceive it, so I've taken my time to reconnect with writing from those edges, anyway, to deal with so much chaos, I opt to punctuate my reality as much as I can, and why not share with this community that very thing, it would be rather a plus.
No sé por qué me ha costado tanto reconectarme con la escritura, bueno en realidad sí lo sé, sobre todo cuando muchos de mis proyectos implican conscientemente horas y horas de escritura en diferentes modalidades últimamente, asumir esos proyectos no sólo son un reto en sí mismos, sino una metamorfosis de mi persona como la concibo, así que me he tomado mi tiempo para reconectarme con la escritura desde esas aristas, en fin, para lidiar con tanto caos, opto por puntuar mi realidad lo más que pueda, y por qué no compartir con esta comunidad eso mismo, sería más bien un plus.
STARTING POINT ⬆️ PUNTO DE PARTIDA
One of those things I would like to share, is my new facet as a self-managed teacher, since a couple of months ago I started my comic art course, and my starting point apart from obviously opening an economic entry from my artistic base, was the incentive to create a continuous training group, where both me and the students train each other, In short, I had a long time without drawing or creating particularly creative things, and it gave me a bit of tension to take it up again on my own, so I created a group that forces me at least once a week to create, discuss and study around the subject of comics, a world that is also relatively new to me.
Una de esas cosas que me gustaría compartir, es mi nueva faceta como profesor autogestionado, ya que hace un par de meses empecé mi curso de arte del cómic, y mi punto de partida aparte de obviamente abrir una entrada económica desde mi base artística, fue el incentivo de crear un grupo de formación continua, donde tanto yo como los alumnos nos formamos mutuamente, En definitiva, tenía mucho tiempo sin dibujar ni crear cosas especialmente creativas, y me daba un poco de tensión retomarlo por mi cuenta, así que creé un grupo que me obliga al menos una vez a la semana a crear, discutir y estudiar en torno al tema del cómic, un mundo que además es relativamente nuevo para mí.
PROMOTION ✴️ PROMOCIÓN
To tell the truth my marketing management is not so developed, sometimes I even fight with some concepts, but knowing that I had to promote somehow my new project, I created the design of this informative flyer to spread in networks, along with some small brochures that I distributed in my community, after visiting some blocks in the area and a couple of schools, two colorful characters were introduced, who are now the founding students of the course, whom I have become very fond of, thanks to them, their parents and tutors for believing in what is being managed here.
A decir verdad mi manejo del marketing no es tan desarrollado, a veces hasta me peleo con algunos conceptos, pero sabiendo que tenía que promocionar de alguna manera mi nuevo proyecto, creé el diseño de este volante informativo para difundir en redes, junto con unos pequeños folletos que repartí en mi comunidad, luego de visitar algunas cuadras de la zona y un par de escuelas, se presentaron dos coloridos personajes, que ahora son los alumnos fundadores del curso, a quienes les he tomado mucho cariño, gracias a ellos, a sus padres y tutores por creer en lo que aquí se gestiona.

CONTEXT 🔆 CONTEXTO
I would like to give a little more context on how I started teaching, and it is due to the clear influence of my partner (La profe Vi), who is also on the platform, as @omnis.hunter she is an English teacher and well, the comic art course, was born within her teaching academy project "VerArte" where yours truly is not only a facilitator but also the graphic designer who gave life to her logo, which is still subject to evolutionary improvements, any comments on this matter will be well received hehe.
Me gustaría dar un poco más de contexto sobre cómo empecé a dar clases, y es debido a la clara influencia de mi compañera (La profe Vi), que también está en la plataforma, como @omnis.hunter ella es profesora de inglés y bueno, el curso de comic art, nació dentro de su proyecto de academia de enseñanza "VerArte" donde su servidor no solo es facilitador sino también el diseñador gráfico que dio vida a su logo, el cual aún está sujeto a mejoras evolutivas, cualquier comentario al respecto será bien recibido jeje.
THE CHALLENGE ❗️ EL RETO
Having this context thus began our course, with a small, but decisive step at a personal and professional level also clear, the content of the classes, started from the basics of COMIC, and then go adapting to what each student would like to develop as traditional drawing techniques applied to a cartoon style, so in our first month I wanted to implement a daily exercise challenge where they had to imitate these patterns and shapes in order to exercise their execution and interpretation of strokes at a practical level, at the end of the month, whoever put more effort would win a prize that was nothing more and nothing less than an illustration of the winner made by me (great prize if you ask me u.u).
Teniendo este contexto así inicio nuestro curso, con un pequeño, pero decisivo paso a nivel personal y profesional también claro, el contenido de las clases, partieron desde los fundamentos del COMIC, para luego ir adaptándonos a lo que cada alumno querría desarrollar como técnicas de dibujo tradicional aplicado a un estilo caricaturesco, así que en nuestro primer mes quise implementar un challenge de ejercicio diario donde debían imitar estos patrones y formas con el fin de que a nivel práctico se ejercite su ejecución e interpretación de trazos, al final del mes, quien pusiera más empeño se ganaría un premio que fue nada más y nada menos que una ilustración del ganador hecha por mí (gran premio si me preguntan u.u).

El ganador fue el señor Joaquín, y aquí aprovecho para presentar a los dos pupilos, Joaquín de 14 años, un chico introvertido y con una forma bastante particular de hablar, se toma muy en serio el curso y me agrada muchísimo ver cuanto lo disfruta, en vista de que no son muchos alumnos en el curso me he permitido cultivar una proximidad bastante fuerte con ellos, así que proyecto para él un futuro artístico brillante.
The half-meter giant Luis, 10 years old, with an incredibly imperative personality, finished building me the Jing yang in the student duo, super restless and quite loud, he doesn't stop making us laugh in every class with every witticism, and although he is easily distracted, I can also see how much he enjoys the content of the course and how much fun he has coming here every Saturday.
El gigante de medio metro Luis de 10 años, con una personalidad increíblemente imperativa me termino de construir el yang del Jing en la dupla de alumnos, superinquieto y bastante ruidoso, no para de hacernos reír en cada clase con cada ocurrencia, y aunque se distrae con facilidad, también puedo ver cuanto disfruta el contenido del curso y cuanto le divierte venir acá cada sábado.
CONTENTS 👁🗨 CONTENIDO
The responsibility I chose to take with these children, above all has made me to a large extent responsible for myself in a formative sense, so I seek to integrate myself with them in that process, one of the activities with which I try that, was the continuous reading of comics, starting with a solid classic "The watchmen" a little over tone the truth, since they are not children of legal age, but in view of so much harmful content on the internet (which already consume) then read this comic, in order to cultivate ourselves around the subject analyze and write about it was an excellent choice the truth, a comic with so much relevance in the medium and that also has clear and very well applied narrative and visual fundamentals for an excellent hook the reader, little things that we have been learning, so that collectively we build a comic ourselves, which is currently in process.
La responsabilidad que elegí tomar con estos niños, por sobre todo me ha hecho en bastante medida hacerme responsable de mí mismo en un sentido formativo, así que busco integrarme junto a ellos en ese proceso, una de las actividades con la que procure eso, fue la lectura continua de comics, dando inicio con un clásico sólido "The watchmen" un tanto pasado de tono la verdad, puesto que no son niños mayores de edad, pero en vista de tanto contenido dañino en internet (que ya consumen) pues leer este comic, con el fin de cultivarnos al rededor del tema analizar y escribir al respecto fue una excelente opción la verdad, un comic con tanta relevancia en el medio y que a demás tiene en claro y muy bien aplicados los fundamentos narrativos y visuales para un excelente enganche al lector, pequeñas cosas que hemos estado aprendiendo, para que colectivamente construyamos un comic nosotros mismos, que se encuentra actualmente en proceso.

The kids are big Pokémon fans, so Luis proposed a dynamic of taking fifteen minutes in the middle of the class to draw a Pokémon chosen at random, after each one of us said a number and made a 3 digit number we looked for the Pokémon corresponding to it, we should draw it as best and as soon as possible within those 15 minutes, a super fun exercise when done together.
Los muchachos son altos fans de Pokémon, así que Luis propuso una dinámica de tomar quince minutos en medio de la clase para dibujar un Pokémon elegido al azar, después de cada uno decir un número y conformar uno de 3 cifras buscamos el Pokémon correspondiente a él, debemos plasmarlo lo mejor y más pronto posible dentro de esos 15 minutos, un ejercicio superdivertido cuando se hace en conjunto la verdad.

I really enjoy spending time with the guys unraveling the geek world and comics in general, we have learned progressively and I hope to amplify that knowledge to build the best artist we can be, I generally urge the guys to use their creative tools as emotional catalysts and self-exploration, as that is where the real human work is, and the possibilities for healthy growth.
Disfruto muchísimo el rato con los muchachos desentrañando el mundo geek y comic en general, hemos aprendido progresivamente y espero ir amplificando esos conocimientos para edificar el mejor artista que podamos ser, generalmente insto a los muchachos a que usen sus herramientas creativas como catalizadores emocionales y de autoexploración, ya que allí es donde está la verdadera labor humana, y las posibilidades de crecimiento sano.
