I introduce myself, I am Selene (which in Greek means Goddess of the Moon), I am a free Soul with 29 years of experience in this topic of Life or at least trying to understand what this whole living thing is about.
I hope you are feeling very well, this is my first publication in this community, and I would like to thank you in advance for your openness and willingness to all who read me.

Me presento soy Selene (lo que en griego significa Diosa de la Luna), soy un Alma libre con 29 años de experiencia en este tema de la Vida o al menos intentando comprender de que va todo esto de vivir.
Espero que se encuentren muy bien, esta es mi primera publicación en esta comunidad, y quisiera agradecerles de antemano su apertura y disposición a todos los que me leen.
I was born in the city of Caracas, Venezuela, a tropical country that I consider to be beautiful, full of persistent people with a lot of willpower.
Naci en la ciudad de Caracas, Venezuela, un pais tropical que considero es hermoso, lleno de gente persistente y con mucha fuerza de voluntad.
Most of my life was outside the city, I grew up in the mountain of Hoyo de la Puerta, 1 hour (or 2 depending on transportation) from the city, surrounded by nature, flowers and many colors on the horizon, which Somehow it allowed me to contemplate and understand life from a calmer and more serene point of view.
What I miss most about living there is the warmth of the mountains, the breeze that ruffled my hair, the smell of fresh air, and the impressive landscape that was shown to me every day when I woke up and went to sleep.
While I lived in Hoyo de la Puerta I maintained a strong connection with nature, I loved walking barefoot, the silence that Mother Earth provides and how isolated I often felt from the constant noise of society.
La mayor parte de mi vida estuve fuera de la Ciudad, me crie en la montaña de Hoyo de la Puerta, a 1hr (o 2 dependiendo del transporte) de la ciudad, rodeada de naturaleza, flores y muchos colores en el horizonte, lo que de alguna manera me permitio contemplar y entender la vida desde un punto de vista más tranquilo y sereno.
Lo que mas extraño de vivir allá es la calidez de la montaña, la brisa que despeinaba mi cabello, el olor a aire fresco, y el imponente paisaje que se me mostraba todos los dias al despertar e ir a dormir.
Mientras vivi en hoyo de la puerta mantuve mucho la conexión con la naturaleza, amaba andar descalza, el silencio que brinda la madre tierra y lo aislada que me llegaba a sentir muchas veces del ruido constante de la sociedad.
I currently reside in the vibrant city of Caracas, where everything is faster and anything can happen on a daily basis in this city of Fury, as my sister calls it
Actualmente resido en la vibrante ciudad de Caracas, donde todo es más acelerado y cualquier cosa puede suceder en el dia a dia de esta ciudad de la Furia, como le dice mi hermana.
I am dedicated to Art in many of its expressions, however I have found part of my passion in the world of contemporary dance, since I met it at the age of 16 at the Piso Rojo Dance Workshop of the Central University of Venezuela.
Me dedico al Arte en muchas de sus expresiones, sin embargo he encontrado parte de mi pasión en el mundo de la danza contemporánea, desde que la conocí a los 16 años en el Taller de Danza Piso Rojo de la Universidad Central de Venezuela.
Since my childhood, I showed a great interest in art and body expression, but it was not until my adolescence that I began my formal studies in dance, where I was able to explore my talent and develop the necessary skills for it.
I studied at the National Experimental University of the Arts (Unearte), where I specialized in contemporary dance. During my training at Unearte, I had the opportunity to work with renowned choreographers and dance teachers in Venezuela, which enriched my technique and gave me new artistic perspectives.
Desde mi infancia, mostre un gran interés por el arte y la expresión corporal, pero no fue hasta mi adolescencia que inicie mis estudios formales en la danza, donde pude explorar mi talento y desarrollar las habilidades necesarias para la misma.
Estudie en la Universidad Nacional Experimental de las Artes (Unearte), donde me especialice en danza contemporánea. Durante mi formación en Unearte, tuve la oportunidad de trabajar con reconocidos coreógrafos y maestros de danza, lo que enriqueció mi técnica y me brindó nuevas perspectivas artísticas.
As a contemporary dance performer, I have participated in several presentations at festivals and shows both nationally and internationally. I consider that my work stands out for its expressiveness, fluidity and ability to transmit emotions through movement.
Como intérprete de danza contemporánea, he participado en varias presentaciones en festivales y espectáculos tanto a nivel nacional como internacional. Considero que mi trabajo destaca por su expresividad, fluidez y capacidad para transmitir emociones a través del movimiento.
Currently I dedicate part of my time to teaching, in the practice of teaching and learning bodies, teaching dance classes and workshops, in addition to dedicating myself to the scenic and audiovisual creation of Dance in my country, managing and producing a large part of the shows I do in the medium.
Actualmente dedico parte de mi tiempo a la docencia, en la practica de la enseñanza y aprendizaje de los cuerpos, impartiendo clases y talleres de danza, además de dedicarme a la creación escénica y audiovisual de la Danza en mi país, gestionando y produciendo gran parte de los espectáculos que realizo en el medio.
Consider myself a passionate girl full of talents to explore and discover. I feel a deep pleasure in art, nature, languages and music.
Drawing is one of my favorite activities in my free time. Although I am not yet the most expert, I feel that with each stroke, I manage to capture a part of my creativity while expressing my emotions. I feel that my drawings are a reflection of my inner world. Drawing allows me to find inspiration deep in my imagination.
Me considero una chica apasionada y llena de talentos que explorar y descubrir. Siento un profundo placer por el arte, la naturaleza, los idiomas y la música.
Dibujar es una de mis actividades favoritas en mi tiempo libre. Pese a que aún no soy la más experta siento que con cada trazo, logro plasmar una parte de mi creatividad al mismo tiempo que expreso mis emociones. Siento que mis dibujos son un reflejo de mi mundo interior.
El dibujo me permite encontrar inspiración en lo profundo de mi imaginación.
Writing and reading poetry are other activities that I greatly enjoy. Through words, I manage to capture the beauty of feelings and experiences. Poetry allows me to contemplate life in a unique and profound way. Both when writing and reading poetry, I immerse myself in a world of emotions and reflections, finding inspiration in great poets and in the beauty of life itself.
Escribir y leer poesía son otras actividades que disfruto enormemente. A través de las palabras, logro capturar la belleza de los sentimientos y las experiencias. La poesía me permite contemplar la vida de una manera única y profunda. Tanto al escribir como al leer poesía, me sumerjo en un mundo de emociones y reflexiones, encontrando inspiración en grandes poetas y en la belleza de la vida misma.
I also love going to the mountains, Ávila is another of my favorite places where I like to find myself and live. Walking its trails and contemplating the panoramic views gives me peace and connection with nature. I extremely enjoy the tranquility and serenity that I find at the top of the mountain, which allows me to clear my mind and recharge my energy.
También amo ir a la montaña, el Ávila es otro de los lugares favoritos en los que me gusta encontrarme y habitar. Caminar sus senderos y contemplar las vistas panorámicas me brinda paz y conexión con la naturaleza. Disfruto en extremo de la tranquilidad y la serenidad que encuentro en lo alto de la montaña, lo cual me permite despejar la mente y recargarme de energía.
The French language also occupies a special space in my times. I study the language at the Alliance Française in Caracas, which has allowed me to immerse myself in the French culture and language. Learning French opens the doors to a new world of knowledge and communication. I really enjoy the beauty and musicality of the language, as well as the opportunity to learn more about French culture through it.
El idioma francés también ocupa un espacio especial en mis tiempos. Estudio en la Alianza Francesa de Caracas el idioma lo que me ha permite sumergirme en la cultura y la lengua francesa. Aprender francés me abre las puertas a un mundo nuevo de conocimiento y comunicación. Disfruto mucho de la belleza y la musicalidad del idioma, así como de la oportunidad de conocer más sobre la cultura francesa a través de él.
Last but not least, there is also music as a taste that I carry in my heart and body. He considers me a music lover, and I conceive that music is an essential part of the rhythm of my life. I also believe that each moment of my existence has had a personal soundtrack that has accompanied me in each unique moment.
I enjoy various generes and artists. Music transports me to different moods. In short, I find in each of these hobbies ways to get to know myself and to nourish my being, while at the same time enriching the art I make.
Por ultimo pero no menos importante, también se encuentra la música como un gusto que llevo en el corazón y en el cuerpo. Me considera una melómana, y concibo que la música es parte esencial del ritmo de mi vida. Creo así mismo que cada momento de mi existencia ha tenido un soundtrack personal que me ha acompañado en cada momento unico.
Disfruto de diversos géneros y artistas. La música me transporta a diferentes estados de ánimo.
En resumen, encuentro en cada uno de estos pasatiempos formas de conocerme y de alimentan mi ser, al mismo tiempo que enriquezco el arte que hago.
I am a person who loves my friends, I greatly appreciate and treasure the value of the friendships I have, because I consider them real and unique in each of their forms. I am also an Aquarius, the sign of friendship, therefore I take great care of the few that I have, because yes, I am not one of many friends, because I believe more in quality than quantity.
One of my favorite people is called Juan Manaure @mundomanaure, he is the little black man of my heart, a great friend and support in my life, it is him who I must be with you today, on this platform sharing me. Manaure has been my guide and tutor throughout the process of understanding Hive as A MEANS OF COMMUNICATION, EXPRESSION AND BUILDING A COMMUNITY WITH OTHERS. I love you Manaure!!!
Soy una persona que ama a sus amigues, aprecio y atesoro mucho el valor de las amistades que tengo, porque las considero reales y unicas en cada una de sus formas. Soy Acuario además, el signo de la amistad, por ende cuido mucho las pocas que tengo, porque eso si, no soy de muchos amigues, porque creo más en la calidad que en la cantidad.
Una de mis personas favoritas se llama Juan Manaure @mundomanaure y @guarenasflow, es el negrito de mi corazón, un gran amigo y apoyo en mi Vida, es a él a quien debo estar el día de hoy con ustedes, en esta plataforma compartiendome. Manaure ha sido mi guia y tutor en todo el proceso de comprender Hive como UN MEDIO DE COMUNICACIÓN, EXPRESIÓN Y DE HACER COMUNIDAD CON OTRES. Te quiero Manaure!!!
