Our trip to Baguio City early this year (2024) was really special. It was a lot of firsts for me and for my parents. I'm bringing all my posts here for a Collection.
Burnham Park
For our first day, we spent it on Burnham Park which has a man-made lake. We explored it on a boat at night. Here's the link for that post:
Strawberry Farm, Mine's View Park, and Wright Park
On our second day, we went to many places. We drove further up north to the Strawberry Farm in Benguet. Then, we went to Mine's View Park which had amazing views of the Cordillera Mountains. Finally, we visited Wright Park where I was able to ride a horse for the first time! Check out the whole post through the below link:
Chocolate de Batirol
We took an afternoon break at the Chocolate de Batirol where we had Filipino snacks and of course, some hot chocolate.
Igorot Stone Kingdom and Lemon and Olives Greek Taverna
On our third day, we went to the recently popular Igorot Stone Kingdom. The place was quite touristy and hinging on cultural appropriation. But we were still able to enjoy the view and the architecture. For lunch, we went to a Greek restaurant in Camp John Hay. It was called Lemon and Olives Greek Taverna. Check out our entire trip and the food we ate through the link:
Hill Station and SM Baguio
Finally, on our last night, we went to a restaurant called Hill Station. There, we celebrated our mother's birthday. The night was really cold during this time, but we braved it and climbed up to the top floor of SM Baguio to see the city lights of Baguio.
Hope to see this place someday 😊
