Katya sat in a coffee shop, lazily stirring her latte, staring at her phone screen. Her finger swiped left without much thought—one by one, men with awkward elevator selfies, fishing photos, and cliché phrases like "I just want a kind girl" disappeared.
"Is there even one normal guy on this site?" she sighed, ready to delete the app.
And then, he appeared. Not a model, but something about his smile and witty bio caught her attention. "I know algorithms, but I haven’t found the formula for love yet. Maybe you can crack my code?"
"Oh, a programmable romantic," she smirked and swiped right without hesitation. It was a match!
Their conversation flowed effortlessly, as if they had known each other forever. Artyom was an IT specialist, loved escape rooms and psychology books, and, most importantly, didn’t send boring "How are you?" messages. A few days later, he suggested they meet.
"But no standard coffee shop date. I have a surprise for you!" he wrote.
Katya wasn’t a big fan of surprises, but she decided to take a chance.
That evening, she found herself following an unusual route: first, she received a message with coordinates leading to a park, where she discovered a hidden envelope. Inside was a riddle that led her to a bookstore, where the cashier handed her the next clue. At the end of the journey, she arrived at a cozy bar with soft lighting and jazz music. Sitting at a table was Artyom, a playful smile on his lips.
"Congratulations, you've successfully cracked my code," he said, handing her a cocktail.
Katya laughed. This was the best date of her life.
From that evening on, her love algorithm changed. No more random swipes—just one story, starting with a smile in an app and continuing in real life.
