Today God made me see again that even if we are thinking that our life has no good direction, that good things do not happen to us being the righteous but to others who are not, that the happy moments are far away and the typical "that he does not listen to us or abandoned us" maybe we are seeing only one side or in the wrong direction. God gives us every day of our lives one or many miracles that most of us do not perceive on our own but there has to be a moment of great impact to realize it.
Hoy Dios me hizo ver de nuevo que así estemos pensando que nuestra vida no tiene buen rumbo, que no nos pasan cosas buenas a nosotros siendo los justos sino a los demás que no lo son, que los momentos felices están lejos y lo típico “que él no nos escucha o nos abandonó” tal vez estemos viendo solo un lado o en la dirección incorrecta. Dios nos da todos los días de nuestras vidas uno o muchos milagros que la mayoría de nosotros no lo percibimos por si solos sino que tiene que haber un momento de gran impacto para darnos cuenta.
He made me see all this through a film. And it transmitted feelings that I had not felt in a long time for a movie. Peace, sadness, love. Feelings, as Miriam Neff (a great Christian writer) says, are not bad, you just have to know how to control them.
At the end of the movie the characters discover after going through great family tragedies that God helped them in every circumstance they went through (good or bad). Miracles are not always big as most people say, no, there are small miracles that bring great rewards. A miracle is something good that happens and that the human being finds it impossible to understand why or how it happened.
For me a miracle is to wake up every day next to my loved ones, to be able to see the sunrises, sunsets and sunsets, to be able to feel the warm embrace of the person you love, to hear the voice of my mother and father every day, to say I love you to all my loved ones, to run in search of my pets, is to be able to smell the desserts that my aunt and cousin prepare, to feel the sweet and delicious taste of every dessert that my grandmother prepares for me, is to be able to remember every moment lived, to have a home to come to, a bed to rest in, to feel the wind on my skin, to have a loving, united and protective family.
Todo esto me lo hizo ver a través de una película. Y es que me transmitió sentimientos que no había sentido en mucho tiempo por una película. Paz, tristeza, amor. Los sentimientos como lo dice Miriam Neff (una gran escritora cristiana) no son malos, solo hay que saber controlarlos.
En el final de la película los personajes descubren después de haber pasado por grandes tragedias familiares que Dios los ayudó en cada circunstancia por la que pasaron (buena o mala). Los milagros no siempre son grandes como la mayoría de las personas suelen decir, no, existen milagros pequeños que traen grandes recompensas. Un milagro es algo bueno que ocurre y que el ser humano se le hace imposible comprender porque o como sucedió.
Para mí un milagro es despertar cada día al lado de mis seres queridos, es poder ver los amaneceres, los atardeceres y los anocheceres, es poder sentir el cálido abrazo de la persona que amas, escuchar la voz de mi madre y mi padre todos los días, decirle te amo a todos mis seres queridos, correr en busca de mis mascotas, es poder oler los postres que preparan mi tía y mi prima, sentir el sabor tan dulce y delicioso de cada postre que me prepare mi abuela, es poder recordar cada momento vivido, tener un hogar al cual llegar, una cama en la cual descansar, sentir el viento en mi piel, tener una familia amorosa, unida y protectora.
It's to be able to listen to the birds sing, to see how beautiful the trees and all of nature are; and so on. For me all these things that may seem very small or nothing to others, are a miracle for me, since not many possess them and it is impossible for them.
I thank God for the lives of my loved ones and for my own, for the opportunity to express myself freely by following him. On bad days I think of every good thing that is happening around me and deflect the negative thoughts.
So, I invite you to look around you and realize all those miracles that God is giving you.
Es poder escuchar a las aves cantar, ver lo hermoso que son los árboles y toda la naturaleza; y así. Para mí todas estas cosas que aunque parezcan muy pequeñas o nada para otros, son un milagro para mí, ya que no muchos las poseen y se les hace imposible.
Gracias le doy a Dios por la vida de mis seres queridos y por la mía, por la oportunidad de expresarme libremente siguiéndolo a él. En los días malos pienso en cada una de las cosas buenas que están pasando a mi alrededor y desvío los pensamientos negativos.
Así que, te invito a observar a tu alrededor y te des cuenta de todos esos milagros que Dios te está dando.
Así es los milagros los vivimos cada día
