Durante la Caracas Blockchain Week [ESP-EN]

Bueno, lo prometido es deuda y acá les traigo la parte dos de mi anécdota en la Caracas Blockchain Week.

Con una semana de antelación, había ingresado un permiso laboral en mi trabajo web2 con mentalidad de web1, donde soy docente de inglés en un liceo, así que ya eso estaba cubierto. Y mis otros cursos de inglés por la tarde y noche, también.
El día que salí a Caracas, tomé el taxi a las 11am para el aeropuerto. Extrañamente, el aeropuerto internacional de la Chinita no tiene acceso directo para los taxis, sino que te dejan en el estacionamiento y hay que caminar un tramo.
Entré en el aeropuerto y fui al puesto de la aerolínea a chequearme. Tenía “un poco de sobre equipaje” y tuve que sacar cosas de la maleta, sí, delante de todo el mundo. Una vez chequeado, vi que la batería de mi celular estaba bajando, así que como correspondía, había que cargarlo. ¡Sorpresa! Dejé el cargador conectado en casa.

¿Adivinen quién fue a comprar un cargador en el aeropuerto y lo pagó con cripto? Sí, yo. Momento de Publicidad: Cyber Génesis tiene todo lo que desees y aceptan cripto. Fin del espacio publicitario.
Puse a cargar un poco el cel y como tenía tiempo para esperar, me comí algo y me dio sed ¿Adivinen quien dejó el contigo en casa y con agua fría? Sí, yo. No, ni modo que me compre otro, a esperar el avión. Tenía el tiempo para esperar a abordar y seguí haciendo el curso de Platzi de Startups con Angela Ocando.

Estaba muy feliz, escuchando música, me sentía en mi elemento, sonreía. Si tienen la oportunidad de viajar en avión, háganlo, es lo máximo.
Aterrizamos y me encontré con una Caracas lluviosa.
Encontré mi taxi y nos fuimos al Centro Cultural BOD, donde encontré a la gente bella de Hive allí fuera, ya había terminado ese día, ya todos se estaban yendo a sus lugares. Ya era muy tarde, me había perdido de estar aunque fuera un ratico ese día.
Me encontré a @gabriellalpez2 , @arlettemsalase, @soylaloreto y a Maargy y Zula de la comunidad de #100diasderesearch Cuando las abracé, me sentí como en casa. Si mal no recuerdo, ahí conocí a @samgiset, a quien vería luego en backstage.
Finalmente, nos fuimos al apartamento. Un Airbnb hermoso relativamente cerca del Centro Cultural BOD. Estaba muy cansada.

Desperté temprano, las muchachas me dieron un curso exprés para maquillarme y lo hice.

Y llegó el viernes: El tan esperado día del plato fuerte de la Caracas Blockchain Week.

Llegamos a tiempo, y lo primero fue registrarme, obtener esa hermosa banda negra que me daba acceso a todo, y el carnet que decía “Speaker”.
Luego de eso, vi a lo lejos a una chica hermosa y dije “Esa es Yis, es mi amiga”. Trabajo con Yis en un proyecto de comunidad llamado “La Cryptomanada” donde recibimos a todas las personas que no saben nada de este mundo web3, cripto, metaverso, blockchain y creamos comunidad explicando, orientando, haciendo twitter spaces o voices de telegram, explicamos proyectos NTFS, entre otras cosas.

Al estar con ella, vi que a lo lejos venia otro chico, alto blanco y sabía que era él:”Ese es Elías” un gran amigo que este ecosistema me regaló.

Luego, debía ir al backstage y comenzar a prepararme para la gran jornada que tendría.

Cuando ya estaba lista para comenzar, Danna, una de las productoras en backstage, me dice “Ay, ¿Sera posible que pueda esperar acá una de las speakers?" Y yo: "¡Por supuesto!"
No sabía quién sería pero sabía que sería genial.
La bellísima e inteligente Genny Díaz/ @criptogenny de la Librería de Satoshi. La conocí, hablamos un poco, y en eso llega otra speaker, nada más y nada menos que la deslumbrante @alteramelia y yo temblando entre esas mujeres profesionales, inteligentes, periodistas, creadoras de contenido.

No solo se trata de admiración, sino la sororidad. Las tres subimos fotos en el twitter etiquetándonos y allí conversamos amenamente hasta que tocó salir al escenario.
Ese momento de salir por primera vez, lo recuerdo, estaba muy nerviosa. Creo que por un momento se me trabaron las palabras, la emoción era inimaginable: **¡Era el escenario de la Caracas Blockchain Week! **El evento que días atrás dije “no voy a ir, que se pierda la entrada” y estaba viviendo lo mejor de lo mejor con esa experiencia.
De ahí en adelante, fue una lluvia de speakers, de fotos, de conversaciones en backstage y de cosas muy positivas que me llevo en mis recuerdos y en mi corazón.

Hay una anécdota de que ese viernes, llega la hora del almuerzo y entre ponencia y ponencia, como saben, no había mucho tiempo. Eran de 15 a 20 minutos. Y la chica que era la Host, le dio hambre. Esa chica con hambre no es tan sonriente. Sí, esa chica soy yo. Jajaja, pregunté cuánto tiempo tenia para comer, me dijeron 10 minutos. ¿Adivinen quién se comió un almuerzo en 5 minutos y le dio tiempo de arreglarse y maquillarse para salir a tarima? Al otro día nos reímos mucho por eso, todos atrás lo comentaban, me dio pena pero finalmente, fue gracioso. Chamos, tenía hambre, perdón.

Si analizan las fotos y me ven cómo estaba antes de abordar y cómo estaba durante el evento, el cambio de energías lo fue todo. Y gracias al evento y todo lo vivido, es un mood que se ha quedado conmigo desde siempre.
Soy una persona muy empática, que si estoy feliz lo demuestro, que si me pasa algo lo demuestro. Y es más que evidente que estaba en mi elemento.
GRACIAS INFINITAS a todas las bellas personas que se me acercaron para conversar, a los speakers por las fotos, a los organizadores de la Caracas Blockchain Week y todo el equipo de producción, que hicieron posible lo imposible.

With a week’s notice, I had entered a work permit in my web2 work with a web1 mentality, where I work as an English teacher in a high school, so that was covered. And my other English courses in the afternoon and evening, too.
The day I left for Caracas, I took the taxi at 11am to the airport. Strangely, the Chinita International Airport does not have direct access for taxis, but they leave you in the parking lot and you have to walk a stretch.
I went into the airport and went to the airline post to check on me. I had "a little baggage" and I had to take things out of the suitcase, yes, in front of everyone. Once checked, I saw that my cell phone battery was going down, so I had to charge it as appropriate. Surprise! I left the charger on at home.

I was very happy, listening to music, I felt in my element, I smiled. If you have the opportunity to travel by plane, do it, it’s the best. We landed and found a rainy Caracas.
I found my taxi and went to the BOD Cultural Center, where I met the beautiful people of Hive out there, it was over that day, and they were all going to their places. It was too late, I had missed being there for a while that day.
I found @gabriellalpez2 , @arlettemsalase, @soylaloreto and Maargy and Zula from the #100diasderesearch community When I hugged them, I felt at home. If I remember correctly, that’s the moment where I met @samgiset, whom I would see backstage. Finally, we went to the apartment. A beautiful Airbnb relatively close to the BOD Cultural Center. I was very tired.

We got there on time, and the first thing was sign up, get that beautiful black band that gave me access to everything, and the card that said "Speaker".
After that, I saw a beautiful girl in the distance and I said "That’s Yis, that’s my friend". I work with Yis on a community project called "La Cryptomanada" where we receive all the people who know nothing about this web3 world, crypto, metaverse, blockchain and we create community explaining, guiding, doing twitter spaces or telegram voices, we explain NTFS projects, among other things.

When I was ready to start, Danna, one of the backstage producers, says to me "Oh, is it possible that I can wait here for one of the speakers?" And I: "Of course!" I didn’t know who I would be but I knew it would be great.
It was the beautiful and intelligent Genny Díaz/ @criptogenny of the Satoshi Library. I met her, we talked a little, and then another speaker arrives, nothing more and nothing less than the dazzling @alteramelia and me trembling among those professional, intelligent, journalists, content creators.

It’s not just about admiration, but sorority. All three of us uploaded photos on twitter labeling ourselves and there we chatted nicely until we got to the stage. That first time out, I remember, I was very nervous. I think for a moment my words got stuck, the excitement was unimaginable: It was the scene of the Caracas Blockchain Week! The event I said a few days ago "I’m not going, Let's forget about the tickets" and was living the best of the best with that experience.
From then on, it was a shower of speakers, photos, backstage conversations and very positive things that I carry in my memories and in my heart.

There’s an anecdote on Friday, it was lunch time and between the speakers and their shows, as you know, there wasn’t much spare time. It was like 15 to 20 minutes. And the girl who was the host, she got hungry. That hungry girl is not so smiling when she's hungry. Yes, that girl is me. Hahaha, I asked how long I had to eat, they told me 10 minutes. Guess who ate lunch in five minutes and gave her time to get dressed and make up to go out on stage? The next day we laughed a lot about it, everyone said it back then, I felt sorry for it but finally, it was funny. Guys, I was hungry, I’m sorry.

Yeah, I mean we got some options at the moment, exchanges, apps through we can charge them with our local coin and then transfer to others with cripto, and that's how I could done it. It's like a transfer using cripto (for example, usdt)

Fue muy lindo compartir éstos días contigo, desde que te vi llegar a Caracas hasta cuando sabía que quedaba poco rato para que volvieras a casa.
Me emocionaba mucho saber que conocía a quien estaba en la tarima, te sentí auténtica ahí y creo que todos los que te acompañamos lo apreciamos también.
