Paseando por Belgrano, me encuentro una casa icónica donde, si no me equivoco, funciona la embajada de Australia (en google maps no están la obra de arte) de la cual elegí la rana en el inodoro) donde al esperar a mi novia me encuentro con la imagen representativa de lo que está en contra de lo que pienso sobre el arte de la creación. Walking through Belgrano, I came across an iconic house that, if I'm not mistaken, houses the Australian embassy (the artwork from which I chose the frog in the toilet isn't on Google Maps). While waiting for my girlfriend, I came across the representative image of what goes against my beliefs about the art of creation. I'll share the image below:

Uno de los encantos de Australia es que la naturaleza está en todas partes. Me encanta la Australia rural (y las siempre presentes ranas pardas) y me gustó el contraste del aspecto espacial de este baño yuxtapuesto con la tradicional rana. Mi cuñado me dice que una rana en el inodoro significa que el agua está limpia... ¡Es mejor que encontrar una serpiente!

One of the charms of Australia is that nature is everywhere. I love rural Australia (and the ever-present brown frogs) and I liked the contrast of the spatial look of this toilet juxtaposed with the traditional frog. My brother-in-law tells me that a frog in the toilet means the water is clean... It's better than finding a snake!

"Uno de los encantos de Australia" es encontrar animales silvestres dentro de la cultura? me puse a pensar esto automáticamente que vi la imagen, y como el "jurado" califica esta imagen premiándola como "una imagen humorística", desde mi punto de vista, no tiene nada de humor, nos puede causar cierta empatía o ternura al ver una ranita, pero como explica aquí "¡Es mejor que encontrar una serpiente!" citaría a un filósofo que suelo leer "Friedrich Nietzsche: que la moral tiene criterios estéticos" donde no importa hasta qué punto lleguemos como humanos, siempre nos sentiremos por encima de la naturaleza.

I started to think this automatically when I saw the image, and since the "jury" qualifies this image by awarding it as "a humorous image", from my point of view, it has no humor at all, it can cause us some empathy or tenderness when seeing a little frog, but as explained here "It's better than finding a snake!" I would quote a philosopher I usually read "Friedrich Nietzsche: that morality has aesthetic criteria" where no matter how far we go as humans, we will always feel above nature.

Creo que cuando confundimos a "jurado" como personas éticas moralmente nos adentramos en estos errores conceptuales de los desastres de la humanidad, lo más IN-HUMANO desde mi punto de vista existencial, considerando que la creación del concepto "animales urbanos" vienen del destrozo hacia la naturaleza para la construcción de hogares humanos, o como la imagen de arriba, muy grande infraestructura, con mucho "cuidado" de el pasto cortado y "prolijo" frente a una universidad, y en un barrio algo pudiente, en donde hace un paralelismo fundamental luego de ver a gente durmiendo en la calle. Aunque me fui del tema central, esta publicación abarca todo lo sentimentalmente pensado que me genero el ver esta imagen, y me sentí con muchas ganas de compartirlo acá con ustedes.

Cuando el arte se vuelve mercancía, deja de ser arte, el hecho de aguantar ciertas "acciones" de estos personajes me dio tanta rabia para poder desahogarme por aquí, pero verdaderamente y cada día que pasa, me va sorprendiendo mas el individualismo y la poca conciencia de los acontecimientos que provocamos en nuestro circulo (tanto social como cultural, fisico, mental). Este mismo dia vi mucha gente viviendo en la calle, hasta cuando premiaremos imagenes y seguiremos golpeando a los indigentes? ¡Los leo!
When art becomes a commodity, it ceases to be art. Enduring certain "actions" from these people made me so angry I couldn't vent here, but truly, and with each passing day, I'm more surprised by the individualism and the lack of awareness of the events we cause in our circles (both social and cultural, physical and mental).
