#8 Binary Tree

in Palnet2 years ago

The Infinite Doodle expands in a binary tree. So the number 8 (which is 100 in binary) splits off the fourth item (which is 10 in binary). This quadrant of the grid contains abstract images.

So, I thought it would be fun for the eighth prompt to be "binary tree." In toplogy a binary tree is simply a graph that bifurcates at each node. This next image (which I generated in SVG) shows the first two rows of a binary tree:

HIVE does not accept SVG images; so I had to convert the image to a GIF.

Speaking of SVG. I finally produced the SVG for the "starburst" promot.

I was curious about how DALL-E would interpret the term "binary tree" becaus a binary tree is an abstract mathematical construct. I asked DALL-E to produce the image of a boy picking fruit off a binary tree. It produced a garbage image with contorted face and hands.

So, I asked the system to produce a second image with the prompt of a "binary tree in a garden." DALL-E rendered a tree with computer garble for leaves.

I Welcome Comments on the Infinite Doodle

I welcome comments on this project. The infinite doodle is simply a connected art project.

The prompts are connected in a binary tree. Each prompt spawns two children prompts.

I want to produce a prompt a day. So, I am generated AI images to go with the prompt.

The AI images are just prompts. I do not consider them to be creative works. I would consider any drawings by humans inspired by the works to be creative. I am avoiding posting in the #creativecoin community.

The prompts are intended to be an art challenge. I will upvote and promote any drawings based on the prompts. I have 60K CCC and 5500 HP. Plus I will generate NFTs as rewards.

I am currently posting in the PalNet community because PalNet has implemented the NFT code for Hive Engine.

Does this project fit the goals of the PalNet community.

Let me know what types of things you would like to see on the Infinite Doodle! I really like feedback.

Working with AI through human language creates funny results sometime.

The DALL-E images are visually appealing, they lack the details that one would expect from professional graphics.

Notably faces, hands and feet tend to look intriguing at first glance, but are quite disturbing when one examines them up closse.

I think that DALL-E are good enough for HIVE posts. For that matter, I would say that they are ideal for posts about abstract ideas.

In most cases HIVE authors need original graphics that appeal to the eye but do not distract from the post.
