Última crisis del año [Esp/ENG]

What happened? Well, the weather change, the number of things I did in a very short time, and of course, my Sickle Cell Anemia. I've explained before that these crises are very intense and painful episodes. This time, it affected both my legs, so moving around on my own was nearly impossible, and I needed a lot of support. A friend was there the first day, and the following days, a wonderful person: my boyfriend.

I love reading about the incredible ability we humans have to create what we desire through our thoughts and words. A few days ago, during a moment of introspection, I realized there’s no better way to live than with the certainty that everything you desire will materialize. That’s why, each day, we must shape our future with hard work and actions, while holding firm to the conviction that we will achieve everything we set out to do. It’s like walking a path you know is the right one to reach your destination. Everything always conspires in our favor, and when we truly understand this, life takes a complete 180° turn.

This street is very long, so you can start looking at things and spend a long time until you reach the end of the market, in my case, I finished when it was already dark. In that case the market looks different, illuminated not only by the lights themselves but also by the beautiful decorations with lights that the city has at this time of the year.

As the end of the year approaches, the outcomes often awaken in people feelings that are sometimes so diverse that they seem conflicting. However, the important thing is that we pay attention to what happens to us, since each circumstance can take us away and perhaps not bring us back. Emotions are complex states of being, for this reason, their management can help us to understand ourselves better. For this reason, in our daily lives our emotions play a fundamental role, perhaps more important than we think we are aware of.

Months ago, because of the pain of the loss of my sister, I said that I did not want to be close for the same reason, because of the same pain of her death, however I knew that time could also reconsider my decision and here I am, wanting to share with them, more than ever these dates, especially because we need each other's company at this time.
