Christmas season really tells what kind of personality I have, and I say for a fact that I'm definitely an indoors person, and not even the holidays can change that. I'm that person that if it's not really important I won't attend any occasion, unless I'm sure that one person I totally vibe with is going to be there.
The holidays are really a test as to how much of an outdoor person you are, since the holidays is meant to be spent in the gathering of loved ones and friends, the holidays is basically the time of the year where you go out and have fun and unwind for holding out strong throughout the year. And for someone who's an Indoor person I don't really like the holidays for this fact and we have this holiday tradition where a family member gets to host others, and as much as I would like to reconnect with my family after a long year of work and busy days, I just feel overwhelmed by having way to much people around me, it's overstimulating especially having to keep conversations with aunties and uncles that I've practically not seen all year and don't even mention the mess I'll have to clean up when everyone is gone.
Being an indoor person I do get the question why do you like staying home all the time, don't u want to go out and explore different places and get different experiences, my answer to that would be yes, I do but not every time I have the chance to, once a week, yes, maybe even once a month but not all the time, for me going out is draining and I don't do that I lot.
The only time you'd see me outside is if I was sent on an errand or my friend literally drag me out of my house, I'll always wonder why they would always ask for a meet up every other day, and I'm always in awe cuz I can't understand how much I just want to lay in my bed with good snacks, total silence and a very interesting book for 4-8 hours like that would be nice way to spend my holiday. I know it sounds kind of boring but that how I recharge and get myself.Being indoors also sparks my creativity, makes me think properly and analyze things well especially when I'm alone. I find it hard to arrange my thoughts when I'm not in the comfort of my home. Being at home gives me the peace to arrange my thoughts, myself and basically make plans. It is said that

The fact that I'm always indoors doesn't mean I completely hate going out, don't get me wrong I love going out, experiencing new things and exploring new places but it's a once in while kind of thing and when I am out with people I'm comfortable with I get goofy, fun and I make sure everyone is having a great time too.
Baseline is whether indoor or outdoor, whichever one u are ultimately depends on what gives you joy and what you find enriching. Whether you like investing in people and experiences or you like investing in yourself, finding the balance between the two of them is important.

Nicely written and I totally agree. You've got to find the balance between investing in yourself and investing in people and experiences. But sometimes, investing in the latter could produce results for the former. It all depends on what you really do. Nicely written.🌺

Going out to me is kind of toxic to even running errands and each time I come out my neighbors be like did you travel and stuffs like that.
