Hi my people, Happy New Year once again! So far, so good, things are still working together as planned. Almost everyone planned a grand entry into the new year. Surprisingly, every church nearly doubled or tripled in size on the 31st of December which was the last day of the year. People were trooping into churches, even those that never attended any service throughout the 365 days. All wanted the New Year to meet them in the presence of God. My church especially rented more than 10 dozens of chairs, aside the normal ones we use at every service. The road to churches on New Year Eve was jam-packed. The youth filled the street with all kinds of fireworks, music was going on at every corner of the streets. Decoration lights added colour to every area. The street was really bubbling and busy but I was able to get to church and marked my first hour of the year before God.
So, on getting home, I took a nap and woke up at dawn to prepare celebration meal. I together with my siblings took 3 of the chickens we have been rearing for New Year celebration. The killing process was funny because as the eldest of us, I couldn't bring myself to kill the chicken. I was so scared of taking life out of them. Thank God for one of my nephews, so brave and smart.
He took the knife from me and killed chickens without stress. Once I realized my nephews were doing pretty well with the children, I left them with it and proceeded with the cooking of the party jollof rice. Oh, when it comes to cooking party jollof, I'm a pro and they all give that to me at home. After the cooking, we served the neighborhood. and everybody was happy.
I have planned a lot for this New Year, aside eating and drinking, this new year will exhibit a lot of self development goals. I want to grow in all aspects: spiritually, financially and career wise. I have mapped out my Bible reading plan as I will make Bible study and meditation an integral part of me. Also, I want to learn more on how to build my business and brand this year. It is also in my plan to prioritize customers' satisfaction. I know when I satisfy my customers, they will be happy and recommend me to others. By that my business will flourish and thrive. Also this year I planned to be smart in whatever that I do. When I say smart my being smart in the new year has nothing to do with fraud. I will only make do with the opportunity I have like using my smart phone to things that are productive. Gone are the days of burning my data without any gain, while there are lots of things to do online productively.
So, after merry merry, I quietly went to my closet on the 1st of January which was last year. I knelt down and committed the year until God's hands. I also committed my goals and its fulfilment to God in prayers. There are lots to achieve this year and I have planned to also take care of my health to achieve them. Nothing is so paramount as being in good health, then we can achieve so much. I will make a good time table for my feeding, have good nutrition and good body eexercises Lest I forget, I will have good saving plan too this year but not at the detriment of eating good food anyways. I believe things will work together and easy this year by the grace of year. Happy New Year once again to all my friends on this platform. I love you all.
