I remember a couple of days ago when I was telling a friend that I didn't think I'd be able to last more than a month at a 9-5 without going crazy. These last few days, especially this week have been very good proof that I was right to make that statement. I haven't necessarily been doing some office work per se, it has just been filled with learning some important skills while still trying to keep up with all the things I am trying to do online.
Let me try to paint a picture of how days have been of recent. I wake up in the morning, do the usual housekeeping and stuff, and then I have till 10 am to run some airdrop tasks, If I am going to trade that day I'll take it then, and also try to write content for both my Hive blog and my Twitter account which I'm growing (You can check it out here, I share some web3 educational content if you are interested).
Once it is 10 am, I have to for driving class (I can drive but apparently I have to follow due process to get a license, oh and they're teaching with manual gear change which I'm not very familiar with). I get home around 12:30 pm and then I have about three hours before heading to the court, and I kid you not those are the fastest three hours ever. Before I eat lunch and even have a chance to relax a bit it is time to go out again. Where am I going to? To the lawn Tennis court.
I started learning lawn Tennis a couple weeks ago now. It wasn't something I planned, but then my cousin was learning and she asked that I tag along so I decided I might as well learn it too. I also got my first Racket (Isn't she a beauty).
Practice ends in the evening by 6 and I get home tired asf. The rest of the day is pretty much me just hanging around till I fall asleep. Rinse and repeat. And now starting next week I am going to have to find a way to fit in an online course I enrolled for a while ago.
I have to admit that though I enjoy/ find everything important it has been a bit tiring recently. Perhaps a break is needed, I don't know, or maybe I am just lazy, that could be a possibility as well. And even with how simple this routine has been I have been falling behind on some other smaller tasks that I planned to complete this holiday.
The list is long, there's so much time but it feels like there's no time at all.
I don't want to become a robot running from task to task every day round the clock, it is a vicious cycle. I want to live life to the fullest, achieve great things, have fun with friends and family, go on adventures/journeys, and still be able to chill and relax once in a while. Soon I'll do all that, but for now, I need to put my head down and gain the skills and knowledge I need to be able to do that

Generally, I struggle with structure and organization. Scheduling my entire day out like you're doing overwhelms and stresses me out. I almost always default from schedules after following them for a few days. That might be what's happening in your case too.
As far as 9-5s go, you might not necessarily have a problem with working a 9-5, but more so that 9-5s are usually "rinse and repeat" like you said, and that's boring. You probably want something that is fun and not strictly do X, then Y, Z, take a break at A...that type of stuff. Some 9-5s are not like that.
Lawn Tennis sounds super fun. Enjoy, man. I think you're handling this just okay and you'll get a hang on it soon.
You think it is easy to schedule my day? 😂 Still adjusting.
As for the 9-5 yeah, you're correct, the issue isn't the job it's the repititiveness, if the job will allow me to take some breaks and do things my way, I'll be far more productive tbh.
Lawn tennis is fun. Still getting the hang of things but from what I've seen It's something I enjoy and seems like something I could become very good at if I keep playing.
from what i see you seem to be managing well sometimes i wish i could slow time, so many things to do and time seems barely enough , I've been trying to fit in a sport as one of my frequent activities but to no avail.
I totally get this. I can only fit in a sport cause I'm on holiday, once things resume I'll be choked up, except maybe weekends.
Oh.. I once upon a time played tennis with my bro too.. It feels fun, that’s the only outdoor games I find intriguing.
Yeah.. I love it that you’re focused in your own way, that feeling nothing is happening and as if time is wasting is a normal one I think and not so bad too.
The times I feel that way am a little pleased because I could be too ambitious sometimes and that's not so good for the health.
Enjoy your break as much as you could along side your regular routine cus once it begins it would be a long while journey to feel this way again.
Ah, you did? Are you good at it? Don't lie oo, I'll catch you 👀.
I'm trying to enjoy the break cause I know soon it won't be easy anymore.
Lol.. I’m bad at any thing games aside monopoly 😂.
Good for you. Enjoy and come and throw giveaway again🎉
Feeling tired or overwhelmed is totally normal, especially with such a packed schedule. Remember, taking breaks and finding time to relax is essential for maintaining productivity and happiness.
Maybe finding a balance between your activities and giving yourself some downtime could help you feel more refreshed and focused. Keep pushing forward, and don't forget to enjoy the journey along the way!
