Back From The Journey Of The Dead
Mike is just one way away from getting Martina when the unexpected happens to her. He has tried his very best to get her, but all his efforts were proved abortive.
“Hi, Martina!” Mike said as he was just too eager to get her. Martina, on the other hand, does not want to be with Mike as he is not her type of man.

“Hay! I have told you not to stop me anytime I'm passing by, but you seem not to heed simple instructions. I think I will report you to someone who will teach you a lesson”, Martina yelled.

“You can only yell, but I bet you, I will get you no matter what”, Mike bragged, but his words were not new to Martina.
“OK, let's see how you make that happen”, Martina replied.

They both went their ways. Four days later, Martina fell sick and was rushed to the hospital. She was not herself. Meanwhile, Mike has been sitting on the spot where he always blocks Martina.
“Where would she have gone to?” He asked himself loudly.

“Who are you searching for?” Ben, Mike's friend interrupted
“Oh, you scared me. I didn't know you would be here. Are you just coming?”
Mike asked.

“No. I have been beside you for so long now, and you never cared to notice”, Ben said.
“I heard you asking yourself where Martina has gone to”, Ben continued.
“Yes, I have missed her words. You know I promise her that no matter what, I will get her”, Mike said.

“I saw her with her dad this afternoon entering the hospital. With the way she was, I don't think she's okay “, Ben replied.
“Maybe I should go check on her in the hospital “, Mike was so anxious.
Mike accelerated to the hospital only to find some people crying. He saw the nurses rolling a wheel that contained a dead body. The person was covered with white cloth. Meanwhile, Mike had not for once seen Martina’s dad, nor her mum.
“Something is telling me that the wheel the nurses rolled down is the corpse of Martina”, Mike murmured.

He was in pain but did not know how to show off his grievance. He sat lonely in the reception room without saying a word. After some hours of sitting, she began to imagine how the two of them would have been the perfect match even though she had not agreed with him.
“Wake up, man! Wake up right now”, Mike said to himself but then was still thinking about Martina.

He left for his house quietly and calmly but defeated. As he got home, another plan came over his head. “I think I have to sneak into the hospital and observe where they keep the dead bodies. I have to go see for myself. I have to hug my Martina and kiss her even though she is no more. At least I have been longing to hug her, and I can see this as an opportunity to do that”, Mike suggested to himself.

That day, he went back to the hospital and managed to sneak inside the room where the dead were kept. He opened each cloth just to recognize his Martina. He opened the last one and could not find his Martina. Not only that, but he turned and saw another wheel kept separately and immediately rushed to open it.

“It's my Martina”, he said as tears were dripping down his face. He hugged her raised her up and again hugged her. He was about to place his mouth to kiss Martina, before observing that Martina's eyes were shining gazing at him. At the time he thought it was just natural and tried to use his hands to close Martina's eyes. As he was doing that, Martina's eyes blinked, and he felt warmed while holding Martina and immediately rushed out of the room and ran shouting “Ghost, it's a ghost”, ghost… ghost ….”, Mike shouted as he ran as fast as he could. Everyone was surprised to see him run from the room where the dead were kept as no one is allowed to be moved towards that room, except for special purposes.

Even the securities were unable to catch him. As he got home, his legs were shaking as he was unable to explain what he had seen. His mouth became sealed and he looked scared.
“What's the problem?” His friend who had just gone to visit him, but met his absence asked.

Mike could not say a word instead was just quiet. The only word that came out of his mouth was “It's a ghost”.
“Whose ghost is that?” Ben asked.
He was unable to say a word.

Right in the hospital, everyone present rushed to the room and saw Martina sitting on the bed without talking. She looked just like a ghost. Immediately all the nurses who went to check in rushed out and started running, but just one nurse was able to remain without getting afraid.

“It's me, Martina. Why are they running? It's me”, she said.
“But, you died about some hours ago," the nurse replied.

“Please, can you search for that first man who ran out of this place? I think he was the reason I'm living now”, Martina said calmly.
The nurse left to draw the attention of other nurses. They went to meet with Martina after confirming she was alive.
After an hour, Martina's parents arrived and the doctor put a call through to them. Martina narrated how and the reason she woke up. She showed them where to find Mike. “His name is Mike, he saved my life”, Martina said to her parents.
They left searching for Mike but instead met Ben who took them to Mike after profound explanations of the reason they were searching for his friend. They later saw mine who sat quietly deep in thought without talking to anyone.

“Please, we are the parents of Martina”, immediately he heard the name, Martina, he tried to run away and shouted “That ghost?” They immediately caught him and told him “She wants to see you”.

“I can't come. Martina is dead”, Mike replied finally after sitting for about two hours without talking to anyone.

After making him understand, he agreed to follow them. They got to the hospital and immediately Martina ran and gave Mike a huge hug. “You saved me. You brought me back from the journey of the dead to the land of the living. I will repay you for your deed with my heart," Martina said, as Mike was shocked to hear that statement from her.

After that day, their love knew no bounds, and they were so happy together.
