Most people do look at the fair people to be either beautiful or handsome, but I can say this is an original lie. Dark people can make use of their dark skins as pretty and handsome people.
Have you ever heard of black beauty? Yes, the beauty of some girls who are dark can glow into your eyes and make you confess to her about her skin.
Most people who use cream just to become fair come out to be useless. Unless, yours is natural, man-made fairness is not the best and can kill beauty or handsomeness.
