Sometime ago while I was trying to get to Warri in Delta state, Nigeria,. Because I was I a rush to meet up with work for an event I decided to follow a short cut that almost cut me 🙈😆
So I decides instead of taking a vehicle from a normal park which would have taken time because of the waiting time it will take for the vehicle to get filled up.
I stubbornly walked pass the park and went further to take a vehicle popular known as challenge the owners of this kind of vehicles are private car owners transporters who pay the required amount of money for them to move passengers on the road these monies include buying of tickets at various local governments just to mention.
The only difference between them and the transporters at the parks is that they are not registered to any park so the move along the direction of their destination and pick passengers along the way online the normal transporters at the park who have to wait their turn and also wait for passengers to fill the vehicle before they move
You may have heard of the one chance people if you travel the Nigerian roads well if you haven't aM about to share my experience 😀 😜 that's why I said earlier that I took a short cut that almost cut me 😀
I walked past the park and in less than no time I got a vehicle which came and in the vehicle here three gentlemen seated already and elderly man and two middle aged men including the driver making four people who were already in the vehicle. I flagged down the vehicle and who was actually calling Warri, which was my destination at the time he stopped and I boarded.
At this point I must say apart from the fact that I was in a hurry these challenge vehicles are usually cheaper and I wanted to cut cost which was one of the reasons I also went for it.
As soon as I boarded this vehicle I became so uncomfortable because I have had this awkward feeling that something bad was going to happen and then I should take the normal vehicle from the park but I disobeyed., after I greeted everyone in the vehicle I took out my earpiece and started playing music.
I could notice the men were discussing on something but I just wanted to get where I was going and with my earpiece plug in I couldn't relate what they were talking about until one of them touched me and asked that there's something that they are discussing and he would like to ask me and at this point I felt more uneasy
Then the driver went we are just coming from Port-Harcourt and I carried someone who alighted the vehicle just some minutes before I got in and then he dropped some market women and in the process of dropping them he noticed that the man who alighted had left a bag containing a huge amount money and he wanted to know what to do with the money if he should give it to the police or we should share it I shook my head and told them I wasn't interested but before I go on I must say I felt chills running down my spine now and I was sweating now I have seen people talk about being hypnotized and doing things they would have normally not done.
One of the men quickly suggested that since I wasn't interested that his wife had a shop somewhere around the location we were and that if we gave such amount to the police they could arrest someone and the button line was also the fact that the police wouldn't look for the man who has forgot the money at this point the driver made a youturn ready to drive to that man's wife shop where they share the money before we continue on the journey I was so angry 😡 now I told them to drop me and once they did the driver sped off and I didn't see the car again cause I wanted to copy the plate number by the time I was out of the car I instantly felt normal online the uneasy feeling I was having in the car
By the time I shared the experience with a few people they told me how that it was a one chance vehicle i entered and if I had continues the conversation with those men as at that time then they are noticing would have worked on me and whatever they told me to do I would have done it and I was lucky to come out with my phone
I later got another vehicle after waiting for a while and by this time I had wasted more than the time I would have spent in the park waiting for the vehicle to get filled
I decided to share this story here as a reminder that if you are traveling for the festivities please go to a park where you will board a vehicle instead of trying to wait by the roadside for a vehicle to avoid one chance am wishing you all safe travels as you journey for the Christmas and New year festivities.

Never had the experience and I don't think I will ever have not because I know too much but because I have heard a lot of experience and this being an addition to it.... You got lucky and I'm happy you were unharmed... The moral is that we should become careful about the vehicle we board😂.
