Hi everyone trust you are doing great
You know how they say pictures tell a thousand stories and allows you to share the memories of past moment so sometimes we take photos and just forget them and suddenly after a while when you viewed those photos once again the memories of the moment become fresh again and offen times especially on very special occasions it feels like those moments should be lived again.

I am not a fan or lover of photos as it were but I take the time to get some pics when i can so that i can also do some reflections cause for me when you look at some of your photos from the past you can tell if you have made some progress or not speaking from the point of an event decorator when I look at some of the pictures from old jobs and recent jobs I know that I have improved and this is one way I measure my progress in that field thoe

Just before my iPhone 6 crash some years ago I decided to do a back up of the phone and just as if i knew the phone was going to crash two weekes after the back up the phone crashed and so the only photos I lost were those taken within the two weeks after I did a back up some of those moments remaining fresh in my mind cause i had to events within the two weeks and those photos mean a lot to me but we move

Just some days back I was looking for something on my Hard disc drive which I used for the back up and I saw the pictures from my matriculation back in 2020 and it sent chills down my spine and i lived that moment once again in my mind it is a very special momrnt for two reasons which i will share.

Firstly it took me so long before I got an admission into school and at some point I was going to give up but thanks to God for the people around me especially my dad who kept encouraging me to Put in for jamb entrance exam again and again till I finally got the admission into the university more so for the fact that all my younger siblings have gotten into the university before me I thought it was no longer possible looking at those photos just reminds me how that if you want it really bad the universe has a way of giving it to you if and only if you don't slack up on your dreams cause I am only two semesters from graduating having just finished my semifinal exams.

Secondly is the fact to due to the post COVID protocol only a few people randomly selected by the school were picked to represent their department at the matriculation ceremony about five people per department and the rest were just going to watch online.

Having come with me once to school my dad had already told me that due to the distance they won't be travelling for my matriculation after I broke the news to them via our family what's app group which I understood quite well cause they would have to travel for about 8 hours to reach my school.

On the morning of the said day my younger sister who is directly next to me as the first born amd only girl of the family called from her location bin Lagos that she was coming for my matriculation and I told her there was no need since I didn't have any business going for the ceremony she insisted and in less that 2 hours after that call she called to inform me of her arrival in Abeokuta.

I casually gave her the description to on how to get to the federal university of agriculture Abeokuta and guess what she brought company cause she also came with one of her close friend and not only that she got me a cake and also made fried rice and chicken together with a non stick frying pan which she got me.

I am so emotional right now I thought it would end there but she gingered me to enter into the school since she also wanted to sight see I obliged and just as we got into school on the way to my college we saw someone who had a matriculation gown and my sister quickly went and asked if they could lend us the gown for some minutes they obliged and boom we took some really nice pictures as you can see and this moment remains ever fresh in my memory

Yeah, recalling old memories especially the good ones brings a certain kind of smile to our faces

Yayyy, I can't help but cheer with you because I know firsthand how that can be, watching others progress and struggling not to lose hope. Happy that this prompt gave you the opportunity to relive those beautiful memories. Thank you for sharing.🌺

the thought of watching others go ahead can be so frustrating but again what doesn't kill you makes you stronger what's most important is that we learn the lessons of the moment so we can help others without them having to go through our bitter past experiences thank you for sharing your thought

Taking a trip down memory lane is always a treat. Recalling old memories can bring a smile to our faces and warmth to our hearts.
