It’s the festive season, and you can feel the excitement in the air—parties, family gatherings, and that long-awaited break from work or school. But let’s indulge in a little daydreaming: if money and time weren’t issues, where would you spend your holiday?

For me, the answer is clear—Dubai. Yes, the glittering city in the desert, where everything feels larger-than-life. From its skyscrapers to sandy beaches, Dubai has a way of blending tradition with modernity that’s hard to resist.

Why Dubai?

Honestly, Dubai feels like the ultimate holiday destination. It’s like they took a wish list and made it real.

Want luxury? You’ve got the world’s tallest building, the Burj Khalifa, and extravagant hotels like the Burj Al Arab.

Craving adventure? There’s dune bashing in the desert and skydiving over Palm Jumeirah.

Love shopping? The Dubai Mall has you covered with everything from high-end brands to an indoor ice rink.

Need a break from city life? The beaches are gorgeous, and the desert offers peace you won’t find anywhere else.

For someone like me, who loves a mix of relaxation and adventure, Dubai ticks all the boxes.

My Dubai Itinerary

I've really had time to think about this, so here’s how I’d spend my dream holiday in Dubai:

Day 1: Touchdown and Explore Downtown Dubai

I’d start slow—check into a luxurious hotel, probably with a view of the Burj Khalifa😉. Later, I’d head out to explore Downtown Dubai, stroll through the Dubai Mall, and watch the iconic fountain show at night. It’s a calm yet exciting way to kick things off.

Day 2: Desert Safari Adventure

On the second day, it’s all about the desert. A morning camel ride, som thrilling dune bashing, and ending with a traditional Bedouin-style dinner under the stars. I’d try my hand at sandboarding too—though I’d probably fall a lot😂.

Day 3: Luxury and Sky High Views

This day would be pure indulgence. I’d visit the Burj Khalifa, heading up to the observation deck for those jaw-dropping views. Then maybe lunch at a fancy restaurant in Atlantis, The Palm. After that? A relaxing evening at the beach, watching the sun dip into the Gulf.

Day 4: Culture and History

Dubai is not all glitz and glamor—it has a rich history too. I’d spend a day at the Al Fahidi Historical District, exploring its museums and winding alleys. Aride on an abra (a traditional wooden boat) across the Dubai Creek would be the perfect touch.

Day 5: Shopping and Souks

You can’t go to Dubai and skip the shopping. From the Gold Souk to the Spice Souk. Then, maybe treat myself to something fancy from the Dubai Mall because… why not?😁

Day 6: Water Adventures and the Beach

Dubai’s coastline is stunning. I’d try jet skiing or paddleboarding in the morning, then spend the rest of the day lounging at Jumeirah Beach. Add a sunset yacht cruise to that, and it’s a perfect day.

Day 7: Farewell Fun

On my final day, I’d keep it light—maybe visit Miracle Garden to soak in its colorfu displays or head to Global Village for some last-minute souvenirs. I’d wrap things up with a relaxing evening at a rooftop lounge, savoring the city lights one last time.

So there it is guys, my one place in the World I would love to spend the holidays if money and time wasn't a problem. I really enjoy writing this and I hope to enjoy reading it.
