Right from when I was young, I've always loved going around because I got exposed to exploring different places. Right from when I was young, I've always wanted to go around and just enjoy the feeling of nature around different parts of the world.
So personally, if you ask me, I'll say it for free that I'm more of an outdoor person, and that's majorly because I love to explore a lot. I literally find it fun to go around, exploring new places and things I've not experienced before. And also because of the nature of my job.
It makes the whole thing so easy, because, like they say in my native language, I was served what I know how to eat the best, which turns out to be me going out more often. Which is something I'm happy about, because I literally don't like staying indoors 24/7 sometimes.
I literally prefer going up and down than sitting in one place that makes me feel like I'm in a sort of cage. But that also is dependent on my mood sometimes. Because it's actually funny how I play both sides of being an introvert and also an extrovert. Seems weird, right? Hehehe.
But then, something I'm very sure about is that I'm not the only one found in this kind of situation. I just feel sometimes you want to be alone in your space to either brainstorm, have a personal work time indoors, have personal rehearsals where you don't want anyone coming around to disturb you (which I get a lot from my siblings whenever I'm determined to focus on rehearsing something or making video content), and lots more.
But then, regardless, I'll say for me, being an outdoor person isn't just about enjoying nature alone; it's also about feeling alive. Sometimes I love staying indoors by myself, but then, at some point in time, I might just feel tired and want to experience the feeling of nature around my axis.
I might just decide to stroll around my residential area and go to see the water view, which turns out to be my favorite part about being outdoors. When I'm opportune to go see the water view, I always take my chances seriously, because I love the water view so much. It just has a sense of always making me feel alive and calm whenever I'm around it.
There are days when I'm feeling tired or unmotivated, and I literally want that space to myself to see a lot of reasons to be grateful as a person and also see great possibility around me. I always prefer going to the beach or a place with an amazing water view.
It literally always has a way of lifting my spirits and recharging my batteries. I enjoy spending time in nature. Of course, being an outdoor person isn't all meeting people or connecting, but sometimes, having the feeling of nature calms one's nerves. I suggest y'all try it out. Probably out of your free time.
but also, I really can't always have that. I also appreciate my side of staying indoors sometimes because you can't really tell sometimes. It's a cold world, you know! It's sometimes better to be in your lane, sometimes in your comfort zone.
I honestly do not joke with my comfort zone at all. But then, it doesn't still justify the fact that I'm more of an extrovert than an introvert. But I really can't help it sometimes; I just switch sides and go with the one that works for me the most at that point.
Thank you for taking the time to go through my content, and I hope it was worth it, and I also hope you've learned lots of lessons from the community's weekly prompt. This post is in response to the #Hivenaija weekly contest, edition 76.
