The saying a healthy man is a wealthy man is a bitter truth I have come to appreciate due to a first hand experience i had some times ago
As a mobile teacher who is working in three or more schools I do a lot of trekking(walking) because I believe that the distance between the schoolsi teach are not that far.. apart
As time went by, I realized that no matter how early I went to bed, I found it difficult to have enough rest so I had to seek medical advice.
During consultion i was told by the doctor that I overwork myself every day and i if should continue that way, I might break down.
The first thing I did to save the situation was to get a mobile device like motorcycle or autoritdure to take me from point A to point B.
After each days work i make sure to relax either my watching a movie or listening to music or just lay down in one of the cool spots around me for about one hour or one hour thirty minutes before I start home chores and dinner preparation.
I make sure to go to bed early even when I am not ready to sleep so as to be able to rest very well against the next day activities or challenge.
On weekends I make sure to sleep for at least two hours after breakfast. After following this routine for three months (a term), I had to cut down in the numbers of the schools I take in a week to avoid re-occurrence of overstressing
Though this decision affected my income but I am happy to let go because if I eventually break down, the pay may not be enough for my treatment.
