The consciousness of that common saying that "we set goals only to abandon them after a while," keeps ringing in my head and I am being both scared and careful.
The truth is the saying isn't wrong, personally, I have had that experience many times. At the beginning we will be full of energy, we will set goals and even start pursuing them so well. But somewhere along the line, we won't just know how we went off track and even abandon those goals.
This year, I really don't want to fall victim to that. We are barely done with January. I don't want to be excited with the current results yet because one month of Victory isn't a guarantee, until one reaches the end, any victory on the path to achieving our set goals isn't victory yet.
So far, into 2025, I am seeing growth. I have never been so intentional about my goals like I am currently. Not that sometimes I don't go off track. There are days I feel weak and feel like quitting already because honestly it is not convenient but knowing what I have ahead of me, even after quitting, I come back and continue from where I stopped.
Imagine it is still January and I am already feeling this way, hehe, it means the road isn't going to be all rosy. There is going to be a serious battle to fight and I am certain that if I am disciplined enough to stick to the path, my labor won't go in vain.
I am not 100% sticking to my goals for the year, I won't lie, but I am working towards them, and compared to other years, I think I am progressing.
They say "life is a teacher," I think my experience the previous year is behind the energy I am currently putting towards sticking to the laid down goals.
One of the challenges I am facing currently is sticking to everything. Sometimes a goal from one area of my life affects another goal in another area of my life. For instance, my goals to build my financial life sometimes conflict with my goals to build my spiritual life. It's a very serious battle but I am still trying to find a way to balance things.
I am just glad that the decisions I made are really bringing positive results. I have discarded a lot of distractions, one of them is Facebook and I realized how much time that social app has stolen from me. If only I can turn back the hands of time.
I am more committed and dedicated to my goals but it's not victory yet like I Said earlier, it's not something to celebrate just yet, until it is the end, the battle is not yet over.
Currently what I am doing is checking where there are loopholes in my journey so far and making amends. I don't want to live carelessly by not following my laid down plans for the year. A lot of people say "working with goals brings results," I want to see that for myself this year.

The process is everything. Stick to the process and enjoy it. It’ll be tough and even difficult but that’s the beauty of life. The process
Awnn.. this is a big motivation for me.. I'll do my best to stick, but when it gets too hot, I'll look for a mango tree to sit and take chill yoghurt, I can't kill myself 😂
😂😂😂😂
You are doing great. I think one thing that would help is to prioritize your goals and the aspect of your life that you want to focus on more.
It is better to learn from mistakes oo
I like the energy!! Keep it up.
Omo, thanks for that suggestion ma, I think prioritizing will go a long way to help.
My dear, life has a funny way of making people learn whether you like it or not o😂
