Lying we all know is not good and as a matter of fact it's a sin before God and man but then to heir is human forgiveness divine and one way and the other we just find ourselves not saying the truth for even the most common stuff that deserves a truth.
Personally I hate lies and if we must be close then you must learn to say the truth even though it's bitter after all the truth is always bitter. Some of us lie not because we like it but to save ourselves from the outcome of our actions while others lie because it has become a part of then they make ten sentences but you can only trace just a sentence as the truth. Yeah!! Have come across such individuals a lot and you know they think it's actually cool claiming what you are not and what you don't have.
I could actually go on and on to mention the lies people have told me which I later discovered because a pathetic liar would always forget his last words to you so that's how I get to know them and other ways as well but today I am not going to talk about them but myself cause I have indeed lied before of which am sorry about it now.
Before moving into our personal house, myself and family once lived in a rented apartment where we have nextdoor neighbors who are quite more mature than us but we were very close and behaved like family. As a young teenager then I would always see my neighbors drink Nigerian cereal (garri) with salt instead of the usual sugar and they will always say it is more delicious than sugar and we would love it if we give it a trial. Not once nor twice have they done this but it never occurred to me to try it out. So on this faithful day my mom just got back from the market dropped the things she bought and quickly went out to run one or two stuff immediately I remember the garri and salt adventure and decided I was going to try it.
My siblings were outside playing so I was free inside to do what I wanted. I soaked more than enough cereal and added enough salt in it and had a big scoop only for me to throw it out of my mouth. All along they were lying to me but in my thoughts I heard my mom's voice so I quickly climbed a stool and hid the cereal there with the intention to trash it when my mom went out but that was the end of it all I forgot completely not until after three days my mom found it while cleaning.
When she asked who did it instead of me to say I don't know I called the uncle's name immediately. 😂 I thought my mom would forgive but no she took the cup of garri and vent her anger on him for wasting food and to cut the long story short my mom knew the truth after ten years.

After ten years??? 😂😂
That's a solid lie, there. Did your uncle ever find out the truth?
