THE FIRST PICNIC EXPERIENCE
On Sunday evening, I attended my first picnic of the year. It was organized by the Student Union Judicial Council of my school, and as a student barrister for my department and also a member of the Funaabsu Judicial Council (FJC), I was privileged to attend. Examinations just ended, and it was a way of cooling off and connecting more with each other.
For someone who is a bit shy when it comes to anchoring programs, being chosen to anchor the games session came as a shock to me. I was really shocked, but I composed myself, not wanting others to see how I was. All I could do was constantly tell myself that I could do it and I would be fine.
Surprisingly, I anchored it so well; the game session was so fun. I divided everyone into two groups that would compete against each other, groups A and B.
We played a game, which I call “guess the expression.” Someone from each group picks one of the pieces of paper, where I wrote different expressions, and acts out what he or she sees, and the other group members guess.
Here is group B acting out what is in the paper.

We also played the “name of name” game, where each group mentions different names of a theme mentioned by the anchor of the game, but unfortunately we didn't end the game because it took time for us to agree on the rules of the game; our chief judge also had some things to discuss with us, and of course it was getting dark.

THE SECOND PICNIC EXPERIENCE
Yesterday, Tuesday, I happened to attend another picnic, which is a colour-themed hangout, organized by the APWEN (Association of Professional Women Engineers of Nigeria) Funaab Chapter executives.
I almost didn't attend the hangout because I felt I didn't have anything to wear. I thought long and hard before my friend, who is also a female engineer, came to help me search for something to wear, and eventually I picked the colour yellow and got snacks of the colour yellow.
At the commencement of the hangout, each person was told to introduce themselves by stating their names, department, level, and something interesting about themselves.
We played the “guess the expression” game too, and my group lost, painfully. We also played a drinking game; my group won this one but lost the “complete the song” game. The hangout ended with singing and dancing. I had so much fun too.

Each of these experiences made me realize that humans are social beings; we can't leave the aspect of socializing and also, after a long period of working, there should be time to relax and enjoy it; it helps to keep the mind healthy.
Oh my God am craving for the plaintain over there

You people at the judicial council have money oh. See the boli (roasted plantain) that are there and the other stuff. What did you share at females engineers hangout.
For female engineers hangout, each person brought the snacks of the same colour they were wearing, and then we share it. The executives also did something small, we were given meat pie and drink. It was a fun day actually
