I was smiling as I read this. You made a very good point there, and there is a misconception of this whole religious thing.
Now I am not here to say there is no God because that would be the biggest sin
but many preachers have turned that statement, "You can only succeed or prosper when you serve God dedicatedly," into making people zombie to do their work for them
Imagine people that are meant to be out there working in a prayer place at 9am. Come on, I am not saying its bad, but many religious leaders have made it look like it is impossible to serve God on your own without them, and that's the beginning of brainwashing.
Well, I don't want to talk much on the topic, but you did hit the nail on the head. God will only bless the work of your hand because it says, "Faith without work is death," so if you have faith and you are not showing God some works, your finance is death to him.
