Last week i traveled to Port Harcourt for a seminar, and something unexpected happened, something that had never happened before in a company where my sister work,
Last week was pretty hectic for my family. My family and I went through alot of stress and hard times but I am happy and thankful we came out strong.
I was depressed and pressured with the whole situation. You know that moment when you battling with life finding it hard to follow up with your hiving activities? yap that was totally my state last week, i only managed to submit daily on dreemport because of the end of year treasure hunt in dreemport
I am still tryna get a hang of myself. All hiving activities commenting, upvoting has been placed on hold till I get a hang of myself.
So what happened?
When i mean unexpected i totally meant it, I traveled to Port Harcourt hoping to flex PH. My Seminar went great and all but during the seminar my sister got arrested as a result of 5.7 million stolen in her office at midnight.
She was arrested and was tagged as a suspect because she was the one incharge of the money, she kept it in the office drawer and locked it. The drawer was broken and the money was stolen by burglars at midnight.
All fingers pointed at my sist but no Evidence was pointing to her. Still yet the Police were investigating the wrong people at the wrong side and place. My family had to come together and be by her side we all had to fight to proof her innocence.
She slept in cell for 4 days and was later placed on bail the fifth day after much investigation and they could find no evidence. I was in Portharcourt through out the whole trauma i had to postpone my trip to Lagos because of the case.
6 other securities were arrested but were later released, the case was later transferred to the state CID but was later dismissed because the case was unconcluded since they found nothing on her. The last investigation now is the police going to MTN office to tap through on their calls to see if something suspicious will come out from it.
It was some war, A war between my family and the entire organization, God was indeed on our side.
If a person outside this case looks closely there is enough evidence to get hold of the real culprit. One thing about a crime is every thief makes a mistake, It just had to be found. The buglers were intelligent, it was a smooth heist job, they knew the in and out of the company top notch, they disconnected the whole CCTV cameras.
Infact am even suspecting it was an Internal job a person working in the company and knows the in and out of that place had a hand in this. All evidence pointing to trace the real culprite and buglers was ignored. At this point i would say and consider the Nigeria police being incompetent of a crime.
They couldn't dust for finger print at the first day the crime was made because they didn't have access to a fingerprint detecting machine, an evidence was found at the back of the window where there broke in, a cutlass and big hammer for hitting wall, but was considered invalid and was not used for the case.
Anyways one thing i've learnt from this experience is "GOD IS INDEED YOUR ONLY HELPER"

Oh nothing is such an unexpected and sad turn off events. Things like this usually land one in a bigger mess. Thank God your sister had you all to support her.

Yes of cause you got that right
This is a problem of handling cash. Cash is easily stolen without trace and since you came to the same conclusion (an inside job), the police act exactly on that same suspicion and the closest person to the money unfortunately was your sister.
This could be a lesson to the business to minimize their use of cash and increase maybe the use of digital money, whenever is HBD or other type of digital money.
As for the handling of cash, I would increase security, as a locked drawer is clearly no match for real burglars. My dad used to have this safe at the office.
Exactly you've said it all, the most important thing and mistake they made is not getting a well outspoken safe.

I don't know what to say about our force. But am not so sure they use all of that fingerprint scanning thing. I'm not certain.

yes God is all in all and that is a serious controversy to your family may God rescue her if not when will you guys finish paying that money my advice is just be prayerful that God should reveal the person or the contractor of that act as you have said the person is from that company who knows the were about if the company

I am so sorry. I was wondering what it was that would make you depressed while you were traveling to have fun and learn. But Money Heist and having your sister arrested? That's a depressed worthy situation.
I am happy she was released even though the whole thing was over as it is.
I agree it's an inside job because it takes someone who knows the ins and outs of the place to pull such a thing off.

Thank goodness your sister was vindicated. I've been in her situation, though not money related, and police officers came to my house and ransacked the whole place. It was such a humiliation but when that they found nothing on me, I was released.

Hmm!! It was really a terrible week. The way Nigerian police handle theft case sometimes can be so annoying. I believe that they know your sister is innocent but for what they are going to extort out of her, they are willing to continue dragging the case until they get her to a point when she is willing to bribe them.
It was someone who knows their company very well that gave the thieves information on how to burgle the office. Am insider is definitely part of the deed.
