Wow! This is huge, and whenever I read encounters like this, I find another reason to be grateful for the privileges I have.

Africa is indeed a big place, and there are many people struggling yet happy. They are content and just want to stay alive with their little means. I am glad you impacted lives, and those kids you helped will automatically bring development to their community.
