Celebrating Christmas with a Budget-Friendly Without Starting the New Year Financially Broke.

Hello Everyone. Welcome to my Blog and a Happy New Month to Everyone. It's actually been a while. I am pleased to participate in this week's prompt.

A lot of people get financially broke immediately after the Christmas celebration and it is always terrible starting the New year struggling financially. Do you fall into that category? If not, share with us your budget-friendly christmas celebration ideas.

When I saw this topic I smiled because I have once fallen victim to this and to tell you, beginning a New year broke was not a nice experience atall. Like I keep imagining how I was able to sail through struggling financially because I spent all my money celebrating christmas. The Good thing is that I learnt my lesson though the hard way.

Celebrating Christmas is a nice thing; the issue is in how we tend to celebrate it. A Lot of people use their life savings just to celebrate christmas. We all have our own definition of christmas but how my family always celebrates christmas is just celebrating the Birth of Jesus and also celebrating it as the ending of the year. So we come together as a family, cooking, sharing love to people, Getting gifts for ourselves and others. So we grew up celebrating Christmas that way. But after I lost my Dad, my mum has been taking up the responsibility of still making us celebrate Christmas that way.

But one of the christmas i decided we should try something new i thought of us doing a Family Thanksgiving where i had to spend money cooking for a lot of people after that i told my family were sitting out where i had to get things for my family people it was actually fun though but it took alot of money from me that on entering New Year i had to struggle financially and like i stated earlier it was not a funny experience.

We can still celebrate Christmas without overspending our life savings and going broke. We can still celebrate as a family on a budget-friendly basis. As at last year my family celebrated Christmas with love and we did not need to break a bank for it.

On the Christmas celebration day, we cooked what our hands could reach. Besides there is really no specific food for christmas and almost all the food we cook specifically for christmas we eat them on every other day so there is no specific food for christmas. So we cooked, got drinks, and decorated our parlour. Thank God we had light so we stayed in our house and played the christmas carols while we ate and after that we gisted, played, laughed and celebrated the christmas happily within our house space and i will say it was really fun.

Later that Evening we had to go to Ibom Christmas village. We just went there, had fun and went there with our food and drinks. We found a spot and stayed there while viewing all the displays happening there while having fun. And to say it was the best christmas celebration my family has ever had yet we did not have to spend more money in order to celebrate christmas besides every day is christmas so it should not be something were we get to spend and get financially broke immediately after the christmas celebration. Spend wisely because we do not know how the New Year will start up so we will not end up struggling financially.

Thanks for stopping by my Blog.
