What a blast this week! We had 38 of you share beautiful memories and heartfelt response with us! We appreciate every participant for taking giant strides to expand their minds with the last edition's prompts. Many were as beautiful as they came. And there are a few that we want to showcase for their exceptional entries and level of engagement in the community.

Growing up, my parents never hid their financial struggles from us. I'm guessing that's where I learned contentment from. At this my adult age, no one can pressure me with money or luxury, even at my lowest moment. From my childhood experience and how my parents handled us with money and the good things of life, I am quick to adjust to what is available, especially when the going gets tough..

As kids our parents never had to tell either in writing or word for word that they are going through one or two challenges before we figure it out, they never had to tell us about their struggles before we find out by ourselves. No parents would want their child or children to be unhappy, even when they are unhappy they try their very best not to put it on their face because they don’t want their kids to question them. They will rather fight those battles silently while making sure we live our best lives….

Children are part of the family. Yeah! You got it right. As part of the family, what do you think about the families struggling? Hiding it from them? That wouldn't make sense either. Just like husband and wife doesn't hide anything from each other, that's how the kids should made known their source of feeding.
