Friendship has always had its tough and soft moments, it comes with a lot of sacrifices and honesty. There are so many roles to play in friendships and it is the duty of a friend to tell the other when he/she is wrong. It all depends on the tone used in correcting.
I have a lot of friends and we have moved so well through the good and bad moments, it all dwells on our understanding. As it is said, "By their fruits you shall know them" people will judge you based on how your group or click acts or behaves. If you have friends that steals a lot and everyone knows about that,they would take you as one. When I'm choosing my friends, I make sure they have good morals and they can influence me positively. You can't see a perfect person and here comes some moral deficiency, which you have to correct.

Information reached us that our coursemate had an issue with a police officer on the road, I think the officer suggested he was into fraudulent activities and his friend who was just around the corner appeared and the officer questioned him, he said with confidence that his friend his innocent when he knew he wasn't, i think he was just playing the friends part by covering up for him but the officer took it to another level by checking every details on their phone, it became known that the officers Hypothesis came out to be true and both of them were jailed and the paid an amount for jail.
What I think he would have done since he knew the officer would search was to plead and have a little conversation with the officer since they do consider and listen and at least give them something for bottle of understanding rather than ranting and claiming right.

The relationship I have with my friends is quite so simple and we all understand each other. We beef ourselves up and we don't get angry. I went to my friends place and I didn't see him around, the mom said he went to school and I knew that we were not to be in school that day, I was a bit shocked and his mom noticed the look on my face and he asked why I didn't go, I had to cover up for the time saying I didn't feel like.
When he was back, his mom questioned him again and he lied saying he went to school and I was just there behind laughing so loud, I had to ask which of the school he attends because they one i had admission into were on a break for the moment, he laugh and ran after me. I know the limits our play can get and in something serious I stand up for him and cover him up. It all depends on the level of understanding friends have.

There are friends that would try to be that honest and end up breaking the bond or getting in an argument, you should know your friend and what your friends loves and hates. I get serious in a serious state and cover up for my friends but I do caution them and let them know their wrongs, but we have passed the level of telling lies to our parents on our whereabouts and we don't even have that vibe of flexing too much.
