Getting the best

The primary goal of working is to earn a living wage that covers our expenses. If, after working, we still struggle to make ends meet and need to ask others for help with basic necessities like transportation, then it's essential to reevaluate our salary requirements.

This is where salary negotiation comes in. Negotiation is about reaching a mutually acceptable agreement regarding terms and conditions. When it comes to salary, negotiation is crucial to ensure that our primary goal of working – earning a decent income – is met.
Note that you are exchanging service for money, so it is necessary that you get equivalent value for service rendered.

When determining your salary requirements, several factors that need to be considered come into play, ignoring these factors means you have prepared your heart to work without any remuneration as you gather experience and you get to know new things to be considered when next you find yourself negotiating a salary.
As for me, the little I am about to state is what I gathered from my previous dealings.

  1. Cost of living: Consider the expenses associated with living in your area which includes
    Housing,
    food,
transportation; these three I consider as primary determinants because I can't imagine someone going to work but then go around asking people for assistance in terms of transportation or go about asking people and complain of how you have not eating for the past 2 days, that's sarcastic that will only lead to mockery which will not be a good thing for an individual and it will only bring down your dignity as a person.

  2. Skills and experience: Take into account your educational qualification, skills, and work experience when determining your salary requirements do not give in to some cheap dealings that will make the company have doubts about what you guys are negotiating about.
Having doubts as to weather you are capable fir the work or not state clearly what you know, there is always new experience but then one most not panic as in regards to if you will be able to adapt with their system as it may differ from the previous work but then they will also be learning from you as well so it's a 50-50 something.

  3. Company budget: Consider the company's budget and make plans in range with their capacity.

  4. Confidence: be bold to tell and state exactly what you want and how you want it, you are not asking for someone's head so there is no pont shaking point out clearly that state of boldness gets the company even more interested in you as your confidence will help them build theirs on you.

By considering these factors and tips, you'll be better equipped to negotiate a salary that meets your needs and ensures that your primary goal of working – earning a decent income – is achieved.

I want to state these one more time before I wrap up my thought on this.

Please don't work and still go around asking people for transport fare to your work place. It's not totally bad but it should not be a thing that will make people know you.

Please don't always go to ask people to please help you with what to eat hello please try to maintain your composure learn how to manage.

Please make provision for your house rent even before it elapses it won't be nice that you worked for a complete year but still could not save up to pay for the roof over your head.

Don't work and be a begger.

The more reason why you must give in to good salary scale and make sure you get it the way it should be and don't forget to discuss other benefits attached to the work like health scheme insurance, house allowance and also wardrobe allowance that's if yhe company is capable to meet to such benefits.

If not just make sure the salary cam cover all these tkngs without having a loop hole.
