Love is not jealousy; love is not hate. Love is supposed to be genuine, but I don't think we can find genuine love anymore, as society has tagged what they think love is all about, and you get to see a wife killing her husband and a son killing his mother/father.
Love is not jealousy; love is not hate. Love is supposed to be genuine, but I don't think we can find genuine love anymore, as society has tagged what they think love is all about, and you get to see a wife killing her husband and a son killing his mother/father.All for what? Where have the love, the affinity, and the chemistry gone?Love should be deep; love shouldn't be selfish; love should be sacrificial, but at this point I wonder how many people would like to take bullets for their friends or family. It has eaten deep into the family that the bedrock is destroyed.
Everything one is going up to the materialistic things of love.Love shouldn't be divided but should be expressed and shared equally, but yet in our African home, in a family of four, a mother has her own favorite child, same with the father, and how do you expect the rest of your children to feel? If only a child opens up about how he/she feels when you express your love to another child in front of him.
He feels neglected, unhappy, jealous, and has built-in hatred for his/her other siblings. Like he or she doesn't matter. In my own opinion, parents should show love equally to their children instead of choosing one person out of them all. One thing I always tell myself is if only good people existed more than the bad people.
The world would have been a better place, right? Extending love to neighbors is good, but then why are people so hateful and entitled that they don't derive joy from sharing other people's happiness? Why do people always want others to suffer? Where is the love God said in the Bible gone to when he said, “Love one another as yourself”?The question is, do we even love ourselves enough to extend love to another? When I was little, I watched someone we call family make my parents suffer. The same person that always laughs and jokes around us.
For me he is blood, but after that incident it affected me even more deeply because I'm always the one to serve him each time he comes to the house. I cried several nights even though I wasn't the one suffering most, and it affected almost everything about my thinking. I built an impermeable wall to strangers and family because of that particular incident. I keep asking myself the essence of breaking a long-lasting bond just because of money. Money shouldn't be a reason; it comes and goes. You can have money now, and later it is all gone in the twinkle of an eye. Doesn't that scare you? For me there is more to life, and that is love, but badly genuine love is scarce, just like gold, and what is seen often is fake love with dark hidden intentions.
Choose love; I chose genuine love.

Love can be painful and yet joyful. Let's get down to the love of God, the affinity God has for humanity, coming to save us irrespective of our differences. There is something in the Bible that pickles me, the one that says, “Love each other as I have loved you.” This four-letter word, “love,” has several meanings but depends on your own perspective of your understanding.Posted Using INLEO
But thank God it exists. It just take faith and hope to find it ❤️
