This week prompt is really a good one.
Good-day everyone!
I grew up in a family where before you get money and do anything on your own you have to struggle and these does not mean that dad and mom are not trying no,they are trying their best just how the life was planned is not how it worked out.
Dad was a serious business man and mom also was a good business woman also before set back's scattered everything for my dad and my mom have to take up most of the responsibilities of the family and ever since then my mom has been a very supportive woman for the family and this has really made the family to be very good and also living in one love and togetherness.
Though growing up was not and easy one it was difficult because sometimes i have to struggle to see that i still help out in some responsibilities and the effort was really counting .
This struggle really drained me even to the extent that when i entered university to do my first degree at federal university of technology Owerri it was really tough on me,
The experience then was not favourable at all that i can not even wish it for my enemy .
Though mom and dad tried their best to support with the little they have but it was really had on me because the 80 percentage of the bills was on me and this really draw me back .
It was not funny then because sometimes i will leave school to travel home to see if i can work to make some money and settle some bills in school but as time goes on things keep getting worst .
Payments were increasing both in registration of course, school fees, house rent even in feeding aspect (that one self was like the worst).
At a time I started regretting why i joined school then. because sometimes the main thing we need in this life is consideration but many of us here that word consideration is far from us .
We don't consider thing's even to our own family and this was what led me into joining higher institution without watching the family background first and wait small to see if i will make some money before joining higher education.
Because i did not consider all these factors and challenges then it resulted to putting me into a state of struggle throughout my higher institution.
Is true that, that particular stage of life has gone but reflecting back to it ,it use to draw me back to some memories and this use to lead me into advising myself in so many ways.
In conclusion:
Though at this my second degree now things have normalize.
But at first if i am to advice myself on my younger age and experiences of life i would advice myself on understanding the family background first and to know the stages of things ,income and expenditure and this would have help me because i wouldn't have suffered as i did during my higher education studies.
I could have waited to make some money and things would have been better than.
Believe in yourself never give up.
