Greetings everyone!

Posting about Hive in my WhatsApp status is one thing I became fond of. In a week, six of my 10 posts must be about Hive, and this has attracted many to come check out what it's all about.
At the beginning of last year, one of my resolutions was to bring and nurture at least one person into the ecosystem, and it worked, but the process was not easy at all.
The journey started with a very close friend, a lady that I served with in Nysc, although she was ahead of me.
She decided to ask about Hive via my regular talks of Hive on my WhatsApp status, and I took my time to hint her on the basis with major emphasis on the assurance of her TAKING HOME something if she stays consistent, and also let her know that she has to stress her brain a little in reading because it's not just a write, drop, and run platform.
"Did you say stress my brain? Ever since I passed out of Nysc, I haven't been using my brain; please come and stress it for me"
This was her reply; we laughed over it, and I went further to explain to her everything and I also told her that I would make a screenshot of her words in case she didn't keep to them at the end of the journey. She concurred, and we continued.
"Okay, that's all. You need to draft an introductory article; let's continue from there," I told her, and she promised to do that in the evening of that day because she's at work.
Guys! That's how it ended without her showing up again.
Oftentimes, I would chat with her to remind her about the introduction article, and she never hesitated to give me a series of excuses.
This thing happened up to seven times with different individuals until I met @joycealarapon, to whom I gave the same tutorial, and she surprised me by writing her introduction article the following two days, which really got me surprised because I was thinking she's going to be like others because her WhatsApp status says the same as others...slay queen thing.
Oh, less I forget, I didn't even know her by any means; she was recommended by someone in my WhatsApp group, and that's it.
You know the joy of having a serious student? That's how I felt. I would always go through her blog to check how she's doing and also recommended prompts for her to write.
For now, she's out due to the academy, and I'm hoping she returns soon.
After hers, I continued welcoming people by telling them about Hive, but nobody, absolutely nobody, took it seriously after taking 'my scarce' time to explain thoroughly.
At a time, I vowed never to get involved onboarding anyone again because it was as if the people that are not yet on Hive were the unserious ones, and I was not ready to waste my time anymore.
On one of the Sundays of November last year, we just ended a church service, and a lady, the wife of the assistant leader of my unit, walked up to me and asked if I knew of any games she could play and earn cryptocurrency.
Haaaa! Her question preaked me, and I was totally surprised because it's very rare to see married ladies talking about "play to earn" games.
"How did you know how to do play to earn games? I'm surprised," I asked.
"The one I was playing suspended payment, so I need another one." She responded
I switched the topic and told her about blogging, and she grabbed me, collected my phone, dialled her number on my phone, collected my number via the process and said, She's going to disturb me immediately we get home for me to tell her more.
To be honest, I was so happy at how serious she took the whole thing. I promised to teach her.
Cutting the story short, I explained all she needed to know, especially telling her how consistency is the key. I also gave her a screenshot of my wallet, which really made her more interested.
I helped her get an account after passing through much stress because most of the account creation channels were out of tickets.
Everything turned sour when I told her to draft her introduction article.
Till today, she's yet to write anything, and anytime we see her in church, we laugh over it, especially whenever I start reminding her of how zealous and promising she was when I was lecturing her.
Thanks for reading

Hmmm, I can relate with all the scenario you wrote about, it seem like you simply took out the words from my mouth.
Onboarding people to hive is very hard , people don't know how to recognize opportunities a lot of time , hence they keep on missing out.
The funniest thing is that most of these people were the ones that usually come asking for help of 2k. It used to be painful after taking time to show them and they snub everything.
It's well with their soul
Thank you for reading
@joycealarapon seems promising , I hope to see her become active again.
Yeah. I reached out to her yesterday and she gave me the usual "I've missed hive ooo! I'm coming soon"😅
Thanks so much
Hahahah I can relate to her response!lol

A lot of people will show all their interest and seriousness in the beginning but after the whole process of putting them through, the leave everything hanging in the air.
It's so tiring, informing someone about a platform as wonderful as hive and they end up not taking it serious.

As in eeeh!
This thing is funny because at the end, people like us are not going to gain anything. No referral bonus sef...okay there is/was, 0.00001Hive😅
I wouldn’t laugh over it o
You have become my enemy like that
Check my post out and you will understand my view
For real it’s not easy but then again what can one do
Hahahah🤣
The struggle and stress of onboarding these people are out of this world.
I had to snub someone's call yesterday....I promised to lecture her but fear of wasting my time at the end, knocked me off🥹
You’re very right
It the fear of doing the most and then realizing it meant less to them 🥹🥹
I can’t do that anymore
Me too. I've repented from that lifestyle
Wow, this a great work you are doing posting Hive on your WhatsApp page.
I think I will also do the same.
Thanks for this initiative.

Yeah, thank you.
If you post Hive on your status, be ready to onboard 'unserious' people 😅
