First thing I noticed for me, is your engaging video. Well-done bro 👏

Oh wow. Thank you so much for the kind words.

I really appreciate you taking out time to watch the video.

Over analysis leads to paralysis. Because we fear too much, we try to over prepare and will eventually not act.

Exactly.

I do hope that after watching this we'd all do better and be able to act in spite of the fear we might be feeling.

Once again, thank you big champ for the comment. I couldn't stop smiling while reading your comments.

we try to over prepare and will eventually not act.

Hmm, that's a solid point not a lot of us see/think this

I believe fear is the thought of the unknown. Someone once said, people fear what they don't know. If you don't have an idea about something, you will have a big fear about it. Thats the reason people get scared when going for interview because they don't know if they will be employed or not. It's because they don't know if they will be employed. Imagine someone who knows they will be employed, they will never be scared before going for the interview.

I love the fact that you said we all have fear, but the part we need to work on is how to overcome the fear. It's something we can do. I enjoyed listening to you. I have learned from this podcast or video.

Like you said, everyone has fear but understanding the why's and how's can be a stepping stone for overcoming it.

Some things that I do to overcome certain fears or concerns are;

  1. Realizing that I am not perfect.
  2. Being aware that I'm not the only one in that boat of fear.
  3. Preparing myself for the worst. I usually ask myself, "what's the worst thing that could happen"?
  4. Prepare well ahead in advance, make research and plan, especially if it is a presentation, examination.
  5. Believing for the best outcome irrespective of the fear that I feel.

And if peradventure I make a blunder, I do myself a favour and laugh it off 😂😂
I don't hold on to the negative emotions that comes with failure.

These tips have been helpful in overcoming fear to a great extent. I still feel fear but I also remember that life is a risk and I do what I need to do even with the fear.

This was a lovely video. Well done boss

Every single point you mentioned is spot on. I would say you hit the nail on the head, if everyone can use these simple tips you just outlined , we would be less hard on ourselves and come to the realization that we can overcome our fear.

I love the part where you laugh over your blunders cos I actually do the same and I also make sure I don't repeat them.

I really appreciate you taking out time to watch the video and actually commenting.

Thank you for the kind words. I don't take them for granted.

Thanks for bringing up amazing topics of discuss that we all can learn from. Keep up the good work 👍

Fear has developed in us and we have nurtured it to mature, nurturing our fear is a way of feeling too depressed to tackle whatever it is that is bothering us instead we create room for incentive behavior.
Fear can kill for example a sick will always say Hope this sickness will not kill me and before you know it that sickness will surely kill him.
We need to learn how to face our fear and be the giant never to accommodate defeat.

This is lovely dear.

You are right we have nurtured the fear and it has grown. We must hold our fear by the horn and tell it who is Boss.

Interestingly, a good number of people who die from a health condition don't necessarily die cos of that health condition but cos of the fear associated with that condition.

Thank you for taking out time to watch the video, it means the world to me and I really appreciate it.

U are welcome
