At First Every Christams time is always lively with family and friends coming to visit this year Chirstmas was somehow dull we didn’t plan much with the crisis going on increase in food, transportation, fuel and so on…
But this year Chirstmas was fun just being with family alone it all started out when my younger sister came home for Christmas before are arrival we’ve already plan on killing two chicken to celebrate Christmas thank God we rear chicken in our backyard the rate which chicken is been sold now is very costly but we didn’t bother cause we have chicken which we are planning to use for this Christmas and I woke early Christmas morning in killing the chicken well I already prepared my knife which am going to use to kill it during that timing my younger sister arrived and mom went to market to get Ingredients we were contemplating on either eating Jollof Rice or Fried Rice I decided we goona eat jollof rice i figured it goona save expenses so we went on with it I finished killing the chicken and she helped out with the boiling of it and shredding the skin and all that in details and also frying it and all that mum came home and also did the cooking i was so tired I went to take my bath and left them to handle the rest we also did African Drink called ‘Zobo’we did a lot we knew neighbors would come over to ask for Christmas food cause the aroma of jollof rice can take someone away it was really smelling nice..

After a while everything was ready and put in place the funniest part was I was so tired and i couldn’t even get to eat after food is ready until i woke up and ate mine which was reserved down for me it was fun when working together gisting about each other we made some few calls to family faraway and hopefully there was light we watched movies and laugh it all out it was fun even thought we didn’t manages to go out at least we did it indoor and enjoyed each other company..
