Escape from a toxic relationship.

To love someone means to be satisfied and comfortable with that person. Relationships are like a step forward to marriage, not all relationship turns out to be successful because of a lot of personal reasons or experiences they fail to understand about other better.

I have never dreamt of being in a toxic relationship without someone same also I have never experienced someone having a toxic relationship but one thing I know for sure is anytime someone finds him/herself in situations like this the best thing they should do is try to cut off everything that joins both of them together because I know for sure toxic relationship can lead to Trauma, Psychological problems or even death.

Relationship is bonded with love and not with fight or hatred. I see relationships as a life experience of comfort and belonging where we all get to bond together and live happily sharing our problems to be solved and not distracted by things around us. A toxic relationship can have severe damage to a person's lifestyle. I feel one major thing that causes toxic relationships is cheating, lieing, regret, depression, and several other factors. I don't ever pray or wish to experience this.

Some of the effects toxic relationships can cause on a person is,

  • Low Self-Esteem: The person will lose his/her confidence, and won’t know their worth. Some might even go as far as to start speaking negative talks to themselves self-criticism or difficulty accepting compliments.

  • Trauma and PTSD: I have watched experiences like this in movies where a lady was in a toxic relationship and no one wanted to listen to her pain or talk to her, everywhere she went she felt the imagery of her being maltreated almost every time until she found someone that helped her regain herself and distract her mind from this thoughts.

  • Depression and Suicide: someone experiencing depression will have the feeling of committing suicide, I know suicide most time happens due to overthinking or depression when they feel guilty, shame, self-blame, or emotional disturbance this can lead to depression and can make the person think of suicide as an option.

There are strategic plans we can use to overcome toxic relationships whenever we experience this based on my perspective.

  • Talk to a Friend; I feel this is the first solution someone must ever take note of before doing anything. Always talk to someone whenever you experience such a thing, listen to people you can trust advice, hear their opinions, and learn from it. It is left to you to make the right decision but I know for such someone who loves you won’t want you to experience a toxic relationship.

  • Plan a safe time and place to break up or leave the relationship; It is most times hard to leave this kind of relationship especially when it is very toxic, but I will suggest from movies I have watched, book an open place or a place with a lot of people to break up with such person and try to cut over ties you have with such person, there are a lot of people outside that will value your worth more than that person.

Hmm...
There are people that are in a toxic relationship because they don't want to believe they are. They're so emotionally damaged and disoriented that they can't separate a bad and a good relationship.
The question now is, how do you recue them from their damaged self?
