All around the world, the season is the same when it comes to this festive vibe but in terms of atmospherically conditions, some parts of the world are experiencing cold with excessive snow, rainfall, windy weather and Hamathan as in the case of Nigeria with hot and dry weather.
Before this festival season comes to this point, many of us have dream big about it with good plans especially if our work will give us holiday or free days as in the case of pupils and students in the nursery, primary, secondary, colleges and universities level being on Christmas break.
In planning for a suitable and relaxing Christmas trip, some certain criteria such as money will be considered and this can limit our plans as in my case.
Before the beginning of this year, I had dreamed, wished and prayed to have money to attend Calabar carnival this December or a week holiday at meridien resort hotel which is located in the heart of Uyo/Uruan in Akwa Ibom

This resort is basically blessed with natural features with a stunning environment scenery. It has one of the best golf arenas in Africa according to research, it has a basin and crystal-clear waters surrounding all the structures externally with beautiful and sun shed trees lining up in a demuring way.
WHY I CHOSE LE MERIDIEN HOSTEL
I chose this five star hotel because of several reasons. Firstly, its remote location and limited accessibility makes it an exclusive and peaceful destination. Unlike bustling tourist hotspots, le meridien offers a serene and tranquil atmosphere, perfect for relaxation and rejuvenation for family, colleagues, lovers and individuals.
Secondly, the island's natural beauty is breathtaking. The turquoise lagoon, surrounded by a palm vegetation, and rivers which is home to an incredible array of marine life, such tropical fish. This resort interior is covered with modern facilities, AI features offering stunning experience and opportunities for games and sports such as golf, hiking and lot more.
Plans For My Dream Holiday
Upon arrival in Calabar city of Cross River State, I would check into town and luxury places, such as the national archives, museum, trade market and Lord lugard bungalow before setting out for the event of the week and other cultural displays, that if not le'meridien hotel.

But if it's le meridien hotel or five star, snorkeling, hiking, diving and and water sport will be the first in my agenda. I will make sure I explore the environment to my money's satisfaction.
In all evenings, I would indulge in exquisite dining experiences at the resort's fine dining restaurants, Calabar base and most hip restaurants which I will ensure it features local and international cuisine. I would also enjoy relaxing spa treatments, such as massages and facials, to rejuvenate my mind and body.
