It is with great joy that I write my first post here. Writing is an amazing way of jotting down my thoughts and expressing my feelings about life and the challenges that come with it, without the need to hear another voice from a third party. Over the years, I never knew I had this attribute of writing until I met @kilvnrex, who assisted me in discovering this talent. He also introduced me to Hive, a platform I have not regretted joining, as I have already derived immense joy from crafting my first post.

I’m Oyibo Godgift Oghenekevwe, a native of Delta State, Nigeria. I am an agriculturist, decorator, music lover, and agropreneur. My journey has been a blend of various interests and pursuits, each contributing to my personal and professional growth. Since I could differentiate my left from my right hand, I have always seen myself trying new things and stepping beyond my comfort zone. This curiosity and drive have led me to my current position as a safety officer. Despite having a BSc background in Agriculture and Applied Economics, I have not lost focus on my passions, particularly my interest in decoration and my agropreneurial ventures.

Agriculture has always been at the heart of my professional life. I believe in the potential of sustainable farming practices to transform communities and economies. My academic background has provided me with a solid foundation in agricultural principles and applied economics, enabling me to approach farming from both a practical and business perspective. This dual focus allows me to implement innovative solutions that enhance productivity and profitability for smallholder farmers and agricultural enterprises.

In addition to my work in agriculture, I have honed my skills as a decorator. This creative outlet allows me to express my artistic side and bring joy to others through beautifully designed spaces. Whether it's a wedding, a corporate event, or a simple home makeover, I take pride in transforming ordinary spaces into extraordinary experiences. My passion for decoration has grown alongside my agricultural career, each complementing the other and providing a balanced approach to my professional endeavors.

As an agropreneur, I am dedicated to exploring and implementing new agricultural technologies and practices that can improve food security and sustainability. I am particularly interested in the potential of blockchain technology to revolutionize the agricultural sector. Through this platform, I hope to learn more about blockchain and its applications in agriculture. I believe that by staying informed and continuously learning, I can make significant contributions to the field and help others do the same.
