My journey began when I set foot at Rivers State University, filled with dreams and ambitions. The transition to university life was a challenge; as I try to balance rigorous academics struggle with the hustle of daily survival.
Coming from a humble background, I was determined to excel and make my parent’s sacrifices worthwhile. Despite the sleepless nights, juggling part-time jobs just to earn the naira notes. University life was more than just attending lectures and passing exams. It was a battleground for every smart, brave and intelligent student as I remembered nights spent in my hostels, flipping through various textbooks, writing various assignments without understanding them.
every challenge faced was a step closer to my dream. Upon graduation, I answered Nigeria's call to serve, obeying the clarion call just to lift our nation high with dedication and selflessness in order to lift our nation high. I was posted to Yobe State, a region known for its harsh climate and security challenges.
Under the scorching sun and through relentless rain, I stood firm, embracing my faith. The time in Yobe tested my endurance but also strengthened me. Despite the limited resources and challenging conditions, I found fulfillment in the impact I made. After completing my service year, I returned home, only to face the stark reality of unemployment. The streets beckoned once more, and the hustle resumed with even greater intensity. I sought ways to uplift my family and create a better future. It was during this challenging period that I discovered Hive, HiveNaija, and LeoFinance platforms that seems to offer hope and a new avenue for growth and financial stability.
I hope these communities becomes my lifeline as this journey continues for me awaiting the day when my success story will be celebrated globally. The journey is ongoing, and I am ready for the next chapter, confident that success is within reach.
That's one terrible situation with our country. So many students are admitted every year into the different universities, and each year, too, many graduate, but there are no job security for them. It's just bad.
Congratulations on how far you've gone. Best wishes in your endeavors
