As a book reviewer, and a bookworm. I find books very interesting. You know the adage that says, "If you want to hide knowledge from an African man, put it in a book".
Most people believe that others don't like reading. Several books are so full of knowledge that if the principles are applied, they will change your life. Most successful people write their experiences in books; they share most of their secrets in a book, but you won't know because you don't read.
I once paid money to attend an event, and getting there, I discovered that most speakers were speaking from the knowledge of books and their experiences as well. Aside from going there to connect with like minds, I would have probably used the money, get a book from the store, and applied the knowledge from there.
My favorite author is Dr. Myles Munroe (I will tell you why he is the one probably in my next post). I respect that man so much.
For this writing, I will be giving a review on one important book you shouldn't miss reading. So let gooooo
The book title is THE 48 LAWS OF POWER by Robert Greene.
Although this book has been criticized as being manipulative, then, the advantages are more than the disadvantages.
Some of the rules are:
Never outshine the master: Never outshine your superior or steal their spotlight, make them appear more brilliant, secure their trust, and use them to gain influence and advance your goals.
Never put too much trust in friends: Maintain a healthy distance, limit your secrets because they can be used against you, and be prepared for betrayal. Set boundaries and prioritize yourself.
Win through your actions, never through argument: Focus on taking actions rather than arguing - Show it! Act it! And let your results speak for themselves.
Conceal your intentions:Keep your goals, Ideas, and plans secret because others may try to thwart your plan, and if they know your intentions, they might try to achieve similar plans.
Work on the minds and Hearts of Others: Try to influence people's thoughts, emotions, and motivations to achieve your goals.
These are just random 5 laws in the book, there are so many lessons to learn from this book.
