As I got this prompt for the week from Hive Naija, I began to think and it really took a whole lot of time before I could bring myself to a place where I helped someone. Truth be told, I have not even placed my hands on which one I should talk about because it never occured to me that I have helped people but because of this prompt, I had to think for a long period of time. Maybe before the end of this write up, I will have an exact one to talk about.
It is because when I render help, I dont remember helping and it is so because I got to where I am by help.
I just realized as much as I thought I only received help, it never occured to me that I have also helped a lot of people. Maybe it might not be to the extent that which I have been helped but I found out a lot of people have found reasons to smile, live and embrace life again.
Finally, my help story....
I was pressing my phone on a faithful day and someone messaged me on WhatsApp. Funny enough, I was shocked at the place that which he claimed he got my number; he got my number on my YouTube channel and that was really a shock to me because I never remember dropping my WhatsApp number on such platform but little did I know that my number was exposed while I was recording a video on my phone. So I asked what he would have me do for him and he told me about how he had been struggling to sell his NOTCOIN and since he had watched my videos on my channel and couldn't sort it out, he decided to message me since he found my number.
So I attended to him and I began to talk to him about the processes he needs to go through for him to sell his NOTCOIN so that he can make his money. While I was taking him through that process, he needed to buy a token called TON, which I helped him to buy (he sent the money for me to help him to purchase it) but on buying the token, we realized it was not enough so as to complete process. So I opted in to use my money to buy the token so as to finish up the process and I did that, got the token, sent it to him, did a video call with him, he shared me his screen for me to help him practically without charging him for money and at the end, he sent me the NOTCOIN so as to help him sell.
I did sold the coin for him, sent him the exact money I sold the coin and I also sent him the screenshots just to prove transparency and integrity which he also acknowledged after he saw everything.
Before I continue the story, this guy is a stranger and I am commiting my money for someone whom I have never dealt with and the reason is not far fetched; which is the crypto space is a place where scammers reside and it almost looks as if there are no people with integrity which is one of the reason I added my fund just to let him know that we still have some remnants that you can trust with your funds.
Continuation, after I sent this guy his money, his reaction was "thank you for your integrity and transparency but you will have to wait until Dem pay my alawee before I can send you something."
I couldn't believe my eyes and ears but I was not pained because my point have been driven home and I am happy to be one of the remnants that still hold on to integrity and transparency. Up till this day, the guy never messaged me.

That's very commendable and impressive to help a total stranger to sell his crypto when you could just go away with his money. It doesn't cost too much to help.
Telling you to wait till he receives his "alawee" wasn't necessary since he wasn't ready to pay.

The guy didn't refund you immediately? That's cruel and people like that usually hinder other people who truly need help from getting it because it would be difficult for you to commit your money into helping a stranger especially in the crypto space next time.
