A lot of us have one kind of imagination growing up... imagination devoid of bumps but life isn't that way for real. Our perspectives changes when we are bathed wit many experiences but like u said, having a flexible mind is good to avoid hindering our supposed growth when needed

Imagination actually wanted to finish us as kids but it's normal. Childhood wouldn't have been complete if we didn't imagine those things and at a point, we had to face the reality of life. It's so unpredictable but being flexible has helped us achieve something out of life.
