Going through the second prompt question, I didn't even have to think deeply about one of my recent favorites songs other than "We Move by Mercy Chinwo." I may not be a regular singer in this space, but no one can cut off songs from me daily. My husband once said that I am always going crazy with songs, especially gospel songs, lolz. He once pleaded that I go slow with songs during our family morning devotion so he can see time and catch up with his work, hehehe. That's how much I am addicted to songs, especially ones that capture my heart.
You see the lyrics of a song; that's where I usually dwell, and it determines how much I love a particular song. What kind of message is it sending to my soul? Could it be inspiring, motivating, encouraging, advising, or whatever? The wording matters most to me, and it is what invokes my spirit. And then, this beautiful lady you see above, Mercy Chinwo, has been one of my favorite gospel artists, and I don't hesitate to follow her back to back with her new song release all the time.
Recently, she released a couple of songs that really invoked my spirit with lots of feelings in an unusual manner, but this particular one has a lot to say about my recent reflections regarding my life journey so far. So always, I do visit my BoomPlay app and gently listen to this song, especially declaring positively with the lyrics concerning my life endeavors. I tried uploading the YouTube video in this post, but I wasn't getting it right, so pardon me. Let's talk about the feeling this song invoked in me... If you read closely through the lyrics, you will notice the positive declarations it carries. I am in a stage of my life where I have been having the feelings of stagnancy. I feel that nothing I am pursuing is going forward like I wanted. I felt that there are many unexplainable obstacles on my way that are proving too difficult to overcome. Each time I think about my plans and how I am still rotating at a spot, it gets me weary and I begin to lament, but then this song has been coming through for me. Now I am having the feeling of positivity. I have been declaring forward movement, asking God to level every crooked path straight for my sake.
Then the part where the song says that God is my helper and my anchor got me quite emotional, and I began to see what my maker is capable of doing for me. I don't know how best to explain all I feel about this song, but it's everything about my recent reflections about my life journey, and each time I meditate on the lyrics, I feel like a burden is lifted. It gives me hope knowing that God is my helper and will be there to keep moving me forward in life.

I am not a fan of music but I know that music has the power to heal us, inspire us and boost the energy. The lyrics of the music seems powerful although I didn't hear the music earlier.
