Hello, everyone.
I welcome you to my blog. We are all humans, but with different characters. I am the type that enjoys my own space and hardly leaves my room. A few friends have complained that they are the only ones who pay me a visit, and I hardly do that; they have been complaining from all angles, and I just can't help the situation anymore, so I visit once at least for the whole complaint to die down a little bit.

I see students enjoying their weekends; they go for parties and hangouts, while I spend mine in the comfort of my room scrolling through hive, seeing movies, and enjoying comedy skits online. Some say my style of enjoying the weekend is boring. Friends try to convince me to go out on weekends, but if I do that, I might not be able to write on hive that day as I have made it a habit of writing at least one post daily, and a little change in my schedule might disrupt that.
Friends would always say, As you pass through this school, let the school pass through you too. Well, I prefer the comfort of my room. After last week, I am starting to doubt my way of enjoying weekends. I feel the need to go out more and do more outdoor fun than just stay indoors and on my phone. I am glad my friends have not given up on the quest to cause me to leave my room once in a while, at least, and I did. Trust me, I enjoyed every bit of it.
In other words, I think weekends are better enjoyed outside of your room; you get to cool off from all the stress and get to see a lot of funny stuff.
After so much convincing from friends on Saturday, I decided to follow them out and took a stroll to our school gate at around 4 p.m, where a lot of goodies were sold. It was an all-expenses-paid outing; they got drinks and grilled meat. I contributed by buying peanuts since they are believed to help reduce the level of intoxication. I saw the amount of alcohol they bought, and I knew their intentions were to get really high, but with the peanuts, it might be mild.
After purchasing everything, we headed back to the house, and on reaching the house, we unveiled everything, and everyone dived in while playing music. Indeed, I agree that my weekends have been boring. This weekend turned out different for me, and I am definitely hoping for more weekends like this one instead of staying indoors and seeing movies all day long. A little outing to spice up the whole weekend won't be a bad idea, at least once in a while.
I always have it in mind: if you want to drink, don't drink too much. The moment I started feeling tipsy, I stopped while some of my friends continued while the rest of us slept like newborn babies; they were busy throwing up throughout the night. On Sunday morning, they used it to tease them. Last weekend was one to remember for an introvert like myself.
