Hello, everyone.
I welcome you to my blog. Family is actually one of life's most sacred treasures, but in most cases, many who have the gift of family do not know the value of it until they lose it or the family goes into chaos, and they have no one there for them that they realize the importance of family and the role it plays in our lives. When we talk about family, we all know the role it plays in our lives and in the society at large. Family is the smallest unit that makes up a society, so without families coming together to form the big society we have, then it will not even exist.
Family is irreplaceable; once lost, you can never have something like it again. You can have friends turned family, there can be neighbors turned family, there can be people that accept and treat you like family, but the truth is none will actually treat you exactly the same way your biological family would. The blood that flows through your veins and arteries is what forms the bond; those who just accepted you and treat you like family do not have the same blood flowing through them, so they cannot give you that one hundred percent treatment like the family you are related to by blood.
No doubt there are families in chaos and families that don't act and treat each other like one, but the truth remains that there is a 90 percent chance that the type of family we were raised in actually determines the type of person we grow into. Even the Bible says charity begins at home, but when there is no home, then there is a problem; in cases where one was raised in a house and not a home, it simply means they would lack it. I read a book that says, "A building would remain a house until a loving family moves into it and makes it a home." This simply means that even if a family moves into the house but they do not love and treat each other right, the building still remains a house even though a family lives in it.
I have seen people suffer trauma because of their past experiences, because of what they suffered as kids. As kids, family is what lays the foundation for us; family is like the bedrock of everything that concerns us, both the good and the bad. It's actually family that helps to teach us that and put us on the right track to follow until we get to know things for ourselves and decide to either stick to the teachings or derail, but all that matters is that family played their role.

Being raised in broken homes has its effect because both parents have a role to play, and the absence of one is definitely going to affect the child's upbringing. In most cases, you would hear those raised in homes like that say they do not want their kids to experience such and work towards ensuring that they join hands with their partner to give their kids a better life. All I am saying is that family is a sacred treasure, plays a vital role in our lives, and we ought to do everything to ensure that our families come to like each other as well as stay together no matter the cost.
I think if someone has supportive family then it's easy to handle worst chapter of life too as such a family is blessing
The importance of family can't be quantified and as you have said, family is a treasure. I admire my family a lot as well and you are doing pretty well as well.
