Hello, everyone.
I welcome you to my blog. One thing we all must have learned about life is the fact that we cannot do life alone; no matter how self-dependent and self-reliant you are, at some point in your life, you need somebody to support or help you get something done. This generation is breeding the most self-dependent and self-reliant individuals because of the way calling out for help brings a lot of disrespect, so in order to avoid the disrespect that comes with calling out for help, many people have settled to be completely self-dependent and self-reliant.
No matter how strong you are, you will need somebody one way or another, whether at your own will or at a point where you don't have another choice but to fall back or depend on a person. Life just has a way it works; sometimes it puts you in a position you never thought of or even expected, that one day you would be in such a position, and such positions are such that you will always need someone to actually help you out of it. Some people don't ask for help because it will hurt their ego, while some try not to ask for help in order to avoid the disrespect that follows doing so, but in all, everyone's reasons for not calling out for help counts.
We are in a generation where 90 percent of people expect that after they offer you help, you are supposed to worship them and will use every opportunity to remind you how they helped you when you had no one else to do that for you.
No matter how much you have settled to be self-dependent and self-reliant, not wanting to share your problems with anyone or call out for help so no one gets to disrespect you or remind you of when you were so vulnerable and they were there to help you out, we still manage to have a person or two who we fall back to when things get out of control and we feel like we need help, either advice or to see if they have anything they can do to change the situation. Growing up, I did not have quite a good relationship with my dad since he was a soldier and was nearly never around, but my mom stepped up and was there to play both roles, and that made her the first person we all fell back on to get problems solved, and if she could not provide the solution we actually needed, then we fell back to Dad, who always has a solution to problems no matter how difficult they might be.
My parents are always the first people I fall back on when things get out of hands or when I feel overwhelmed by any situation, and they have never failed to provide me with the support I need to actually keep me going and help me stay afloat. Even if in some cases they cannot provide the help I need at the moment they encourage me and give me the advise I need to help me hang on until a solution to the problem at hand is provided.
Parents are blessings of god. Those who do have it have a hard life.
Their sacrifice, their worries for us, everything comes purely, without thinking about getting a return.
I like your title. Yes, they are our 911.
I really appreciate you stopping by. Thank you.
