Excellent day to everyone .
I have been wrongfully accused and that very event made me unhappy throughout that whole day . It all started when the director at my work place declared a day out of the school days as an open day.
He sent an information through the schoo's l Whatsapp group platform to the parents of the school to come and check their wards academic performance and their books to get them up to speed.
When the day finally came, parents started tripping into the school premises while each student began to bring their books to their parents for checking. There was this particular girl called opeyemi in grade three, her mum Mrs Alaki came to check her books as expected.
She checked each subject one after the other without any complaints but when it came to the subject that I handled, she saw that the girl had only written on two pages. When her mum asked her about it, she told her mum that it was what the subject teacher gave to them. The mum did not believe her so she requested to see me.
When i came around, I explained to her that the while class has been writing note and also working on class drils in the class. Mrs Alali refused to believe me and so I took her daughter's notebook to compare with that of her peers so that her mum could go through it. On going through joth notes, she found out that her daughter jad lied and she was also slacking off.
She felt ashamed to have wrongfully accused me. She apologized but I told her not to worry as it was over since the truth was revealed but I was hurt that a little girl could wrongfully accuse me before her parents. This tauht me a lesson to always be prepared before any form of parent's visit or ooen day.
I had to send opeyemi back to her class to collect her class mate note to update hers byt that was after her mother left the school.
