Hello everyone,
My name is Ifure Ekom-Obong David, a native of Akwa-ibom State, Nigerian.
I'm married to lovely husband and We are blessed with three adorable daughters. they remain our greatest sources of joy and blessing each day, bringing life to my heart, the part I never knew existed, they are just perfect and unique in their little ways, I feel so blessed to have them and I am grateful that they are mine. There is this indescribable bond between us that I will always cherish, being a mother has taught me a lot of things I wouldn't have known except I experienced it, have learnt patience, understanding, endurance ,love, forgiveness and lot more, to me motherhood is a huge responsibility and a privilege ,most times I see myself worrying for little and big things, I cry,I laugh, I love,I care, i .make sacrifices and sometimes it's exhausting but in all I would not trade it for anything in the world.
For my tertiary education,I was at the Prestigious University of Uyo (Uniuyo), where I obtained a Bachelor of Science (Bsc) degree in Crop Science, thereafter I was posted to Abia state and subsequently relocated to Akwa Ibom State for my National Youth Service (NYSC), base marital grounds. I met my husband during my final year in school. Mine is a love story but with a touch of humor, I had known him as my church member and "HE WAS LIKE A BROTHER TO ME" ,but there's this scenario that played out on my birthday while I was preparing for the evening party, he drove past my parents house and there I was in front of our gate, on seeing me he reversed back ,stop the car and came out and greeted me, being a church member we exchange pleasantries and I invited him to my birthday party that evening, he accepted the invitation and he was there ,celebration was fun filled and we spoke at length, after the birthday party we became friends and later became very close, we were like best of friends I was attracted to him because he is fun to be with and I could trust him effortlessly- you know? ,I could tell him anything and of course everything while still feeling safe.
I had soft spot for handsome guys and I would rate him 100% for it, his relationship with God gave me all the reasons I needed to settle down with him, he isn't perfect though but to me he is the best man i know, it still amazes me that a guy I once called my church brother is now my husband ,he loves his kids so much that sometimes I feel jealous, he can go miles for them and I Wonder what a great dad he is and how blessed we are to have him in our lives. Though he's an extremely busy fellow, trust me he still finds time to settle his family. It's important to state here that we find our square roots in complementing each other
He's more of a day(Morning/Afternoon) person, that's when you have him 100% while I am the night Crawler. So this allows me the opportunity of knowing when to take the family issues for him to settle. Else he'll be snoring while you're talking and still telling you he's listening, but what amazes me is that even when he's sleeping and snoring, he can still repeat all that you'd said.
the reason why i came to hive is to connect with this part of the world, make new freinds, expand my knowledge about web3. special thanks to @etorobong for bringing me to hive and i hope to grow, learn and support the platform.
