Hello everyone Good morning and welcome to my blog for today
technology that I really miss. It was a very simple but functional device that could serve the purpose pretty well. There is just something about opening the phone and attending to calls or sending texts that cannot be compared with modern smartphones. I have to say there was definitely a certain charm about flip phones that I find myself missing as well.
I also miss the old physical keypad that used to ship with flip phones. Typing out texts and dialing numbers from physical keys was such a more satisfying experience than touchscreens nowadays. There was a sense of satisfaction in pressing each button, knowing that your message was being accurately transmitted Blackberry smartphone was the most common technology in the by gone ages, I miss that. Blackberry was identically with professional and business people in securing an identity through its easily accessible corporate email facility and, most importantly, the part of the phone that got me most is the physical keyboards that eased typing.
Another aspect I would consider missing from the Blackberry hangs on the notably secure messaging method. Blackberry Messenger is thought to have paved the way for modern messaging because it enabled legal documents to be sent via text or picture-shared files throughout the world with an overall secure encryption. Blackberry messager was a way ahead of its time regarding privacy and security, and thus, alot of people used it to their heart's fulfillment for secretively personal communication.
One more aspect that I miss is the keyboard, by which fast typing was possible without error, unlike the touchscreens of phones today. The easy click-clack sounds while typing are also very satisfying, and many people feel it is more efficient than touch-sensitive typing.
Despite having a massive presence in the mobile world, Blackberry slowly began to witness its decline as Androids and iPhones started claiming ground in the market. Along with it, the app ecosystem was so huge by both Apple and Google that Blackberry just couldn't keep pace in coming up with innovations as well as very soon, would fail to catchthe competition. The year when Blackberry announced it would cease manufacturing its smartphones marked the end of a long-age era.
I quite understand why Blackberry has lost the contemporary gadgets, but I still recall with such deep longing for that type and the memories it bore. It was the definitive source of professionalism and productivity, the nifty quality of making it possible for the world.
You definitely were one of those who enjoyed using the blackberry phone, I didn't get the opportunity to use one then.
