It Can Only Get Better Each Day.

Happy New Year dear reader🎉❤️.

I really have a strong feeling that this year is a year to do, to put in the work, stay locked in and achieve all that is needed to be achieved: not just to have goals and plans but to set systems that would support the goals. I am seeing this year as the year to do, put in the work more rather than planning and planning without any workings; starting out even when all the necessary ingredients aren't readily available.

As expected, I ended last year in church and started this wonderful year in church also. We were all eager to shout, scream, jump and greet when it was few minutes to 12 but we had to pray into the new year, it was an intense one though: every man to himself and his God, pouring out our hearts. At the mention of Happy New Year!! the church scattered for a while, screams and greeting, obvious joy and teeth were shown: I was on stage with the Bass guitar, jamming and holding the groove with the drummer who was playing a funk beat. Our play spiced up the atmosphere, I guess. I was only able to greet my friends and others after I got down from the stage. Service ended and everyone moved out of the church auditorium except workers who were packing equipments back to the store. I still stayed and played the bass guitar for about 30 minutes with the drummer, I missed the bus conveying students back to school area, in fact I told a friend to not worry about me when he offered me a ride, I wanted to enjoy myself with good music.

I got home, slept and woke up past 8am to go to farm inside school. Normally, that's a turn off to go to farm on the first day of the year, but I didn't let that get to me. I can't run from it so I rather do it and m get done with it. It was stressful on farm until I met a guy on farm about 2 hours before leaving. We spoke at length, discussing design and branding, he has vast knowledge on this topic: I did more listening than talking because how much do I have to say or offer to someone who has results 20 times than I do.... He encouraged me a lot and my eyes were opened, initially I thought the energy I was already unleashing in this year should do a lot: this guy's word made me realize that I could do better, put more energy to work, dream bigger and wider, see beyond.

The two or three hours in discussion with this guy made my whole day and I can assuredly say has made my whole year. I was and I'm still motivated to do all that's needed to be done but at the same time I am reminding myself that motivation is just a feeling (can disappear and reappear ) but being disciplined doing the things you're motivated to do is the habit that brings the results. Motivation is a feeling but discipline is a habit that can get you what you desire. Starting tomorrow by implementing the ideas, advice and knowledge I got from this amazing guy.

I have began my year, the word is Limitless Possibilities. So, I am open and preparing myself for every possibilities that could ever occur. Nothing is impossible for God to do! believe, know it and do your part.

Besides, these are the last designs I made in the previous year. I am a Visual Identity Designer (graphic designer). I create professional flyer designs that interpret in details your brand information to your audiences in way they understand better using visual aids.

I am available for any design gig, you can reach me on WhatsApp via (+243 8119244221)
